| slaskan 11-05-2004 06:11 AM MST | Rating: 3.5 | | ok map i liked the walls in the small corridors that were filled with meshes, but i didnt really undestand the theme it was half techstyle and half ancient wich looks bad, really bad.and some meshes were almost pich black. and the corridors was way to narrow for imo cus u couldnt do any dodgetricks in them. summary an ok map with a bad layout wich i dont think could have been so much better, looks ok but didnt keep to any theme bots play good.
| cUnNiNg_StUnTs 11-07-2004 01:30 PM MST | | missing package I have ECE, all 3 Community Bonus Packs, DEBonus, Epic Bonus, what am I missing?
Failed to enter C:UT2004MapsDM-Madness.ut2: Can't find file for package 'AmbModern'
There are a few other maps I've downloaded looking for this same package but the thing is it's the mappers job to be aware of what did and did not come with the game. He may be adding textures or meshes that belong to some one else without permission.
That's why I have a seperate clean install I use for mapping so that I know I'm only using textures my audience is sure to have.
edit: I searched the web and found that it is part of DM-SvL-PhobosClassic you can google that mapname. [SvL]Oni-Ningen takes credit for the packages in that map so you would need to incude it and credit him or remove whatever is linking to it.

| mordameus 11-08-2004 02:08 PM MST | | Thanks for pointing that out, I was afraid something like this would happen, considering all the custom content I have running around my UT folder, so I just picked the stuff that seemed to be OC...guess I was wrong *oops* Aye...I've been thinkin about doing just a clean install of the game, elsewhere, however, I just don't have the free HDD space...I think I might just have to write down all of the Original Content, somewhere.... My apoligies to those that have DL'ed this map and have had that file missing - please give me a day or two to fix this problem, as the only 'net access I have, at the moment is at the Public Library, downtown :/
As for the comment on no dodge-tricks...well, this map was meant to be MUCH more narrow, however, I decided to widen it just a smidgen to allow static meshes...
