Is this going to be some kind of map like deck16 as far as how many remakes there can be drawn up?
Sure seeming that way............................

Revisited? Why? The original Torlan is fine as it is, subsequent clones are not and are not needed.

Abso-lutly correct. Clones Not needed nor desired really. Seeing the Phonex Paradise and Torlan Winters caused my Nephew to insist this be put someplace. The biggest gripe was Naked nodes and a stand alone power core. Hopefully Power nodes will no longer be "Naked" and the Power Core will actually look like it has a job to do other than be a target. We tried to balance the game abit so Red has about the same overall distance travel as Blue, and the tower top can be reached without a Raptor. In game play it seems abit harder to take a main base and we had less fps problems in the rebuilt area under the tower. But as was said, clones need not apply. But maybe someone else might enjoy the changes as our group did. And still...my Apologies :)

The original Torlan is being desicrated by all these remakes. Shame!!

For UT its Face, LavaGiant, and deck 16 remakes.
For UT2K4 its Torlan. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE!!!!!! I don't get why you can't spend a little time and make a map of your own?! And anyways, If you are gonna make a remake you should know that you're gonna get flamed! WHY DOSEN'T ANYONE COME UP WITH THEIR OWN IDEAS ANYMORE?!

My main complaint about the original Torlan is that once a team has taken the last node, game over. The team defending their base has only 3 vehicles with no tanks, while the other team has the rest of the map's vehicles at their disposal. Does this map do anything to correct this imbalance?

who cares let them remake as many as they want to..jezzz you know Ive seen good things come from people making remakes and then accidently make something really cool...I wasnt that big of a fan of the original torlan , but did like the 2nd or 3rd remake of it and as far as deck 16....well that did get a little crazy but with ONS there are tons more options people..think about it vehichles, nodes, mutators of all kinds....give the guy a break this could be what he needs also for training to make his next great map.......then again maybe not :)
