| Amisa 10-10-2004 09:02 AM MDT | | Sorry for the missing files : I've just updated the complete package to NaliCity including ALL the requested files (now 11 MO).
The matter is that I export the textures from Chicoruinspack then reimport them in the MylevelPackage in the purpose of lighting the zip file. But it don't work.. So you need the whole package now complete.. I apologize for that.
To RJGEXPLODE : Those who loaded the previous map already have them and can run this one before I've updated it.. and tutoriel.utx is part of the updated file ctf-silver4
To DERDAK2ROT : thanks for your support ! Merci pour les encouragements !
To )Hidra( : Yes, it is.. Apart I try to make a CTF4 ;-)
To EvilSwanky : OK for critic, but no AmbientSounds ? There's a lot.. Did you really run the actual version ?
| RJGexplode 10-07-2004 11:43 AM MDT | | now it cant find "tutoriel"

| EvilSwanky 10-10-2004 12:51 PM MDT | Rating: 3.5 | | Now the Map runs, all packages are included now (has he permission to use all those packages?) This is a partly good map, but in some places it's just crap... Archi - some well rounded bows, mostly trimmed well, but in some places ugly shapes or extremly cubic look. A lot of Lightsources are made with meshes, but you don't see them if you don't look to close. Why packing them in then? Details are here and there, most of the details are on the textures from the chicoruins texture pack. Textures are made by El Chicoverde, they aren't bad, and they are used well for the most part, but there are some easy to see missalignments which you will see quite often when running from your respawn point to the enemie's base. The skybox isn't worth a mention, just a moon with some reddish and ugly lookin' clouds in front. Lighting - except the underground sewage part and the flag rooms lighting is pure white which gives a silverish look with the chicotextures. This may look good at first gaze, but after one minute its just boring. There are flares all over the map, so it looks even uglier... this would have been a good chance to break the silverish look. Playability - The layout is *O.o* - nonsymmetrical, the blue team has slight advantage. On the other hand, the red team can grab the redeemer first. Overall, this is ok, but it's unforgivable that a match here is a flakmatch without z-axis - ok, one or two places feature z-axis, but it is not enough in regard to such a big map. Plus, I like to play with other weapons than the flak... or at least I like to see bots to do so. They all run through the halls and corridors using the Flak. Bots do well, they give a hard match on a poor map. The author recommends a player load with 16-32 bots, I can say 16 will fit the map perfectly. Conclusion: This map hurts in the eyes after some time, the standard music is bad, but it fits the map, there are no ambient sounds at all and layout excludes z-axis fights, but at least bots do well. => 3.5
EDIT: Yepp, but maybe I just didn't heard them.. don't know. But it doesn't make the map better in this case. ;)
