It's a Tower rising high above the city called Babylon on Planet Mars. On top ( about 10 miles ) the main Powersource is placed just in case the Core gets unstable, still the Core emits a frequent small energy-burst to keep it from overloading. A minor problem for the ammount of energy ( 638 TerraJoules ) is the Natrium polluting the air, creating an orange/red fog, bummer. | Review Rating | 4.5 | User Rating | 7 | Overall Rating | 5.5 |

AWE: 1.5 Ok, there isn't much to this map, but it looks good. Not much for square 90° angles here. The outer corners of the tower is nicely rounded off, the trim work it great, it just looks really smoothe. The claw like semi-arches don't look too bad architecturally, but the textures are a bit off. The atomic lighting makes most of the textures washed out in red. Which leads me to the lighting, which fits the purpose of the map, but still looks ugly and is an eye-sore.
BUILD: 2 The brush-work looks nice, no cut off edges sticking out or anything to snag on. Surprisingly the bricks that rise up don't have the common issue of having a different brightness to them. They all fit in well, and you can't really tell which ones are the movers until they rise. Along with the lighting, the skybox is, well, red; and really hazey.
CAST: 1 This map didn't do anything for me in gameplay. Constantly running around the perimeter of a tower, and on occasion going to the top for a shield or inside for the U-damage. For me, it got old after about 5 frags. Bots navigate the map entirely, not that there's much to see. Though I did notice that they'll tend to just hang around on one side if nothing has spawned nearby for them to grab.
SCORE: 4.5 Visually, the map is ok. Gameplay is too un-exciting. |

[EDIT] i played this map on our clan server and the only thing they said was bad is, "it has no health" other than that, they loved it.

You must know yourself how anoying it is to put all kinds of files in the right folders, and then see the map is ghey, thats anoying and most of the time leaves you with one or 2 files you forgot to erase. but for now, oh well.
ive played the map. I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO like your idea of the moving bricks when that red powersource gets 'angry' executed very well. Imho this is a 1on1-map and you should replace the amp with amor. the itemlayout isnt special, its just the weapon with ammo for that weapon next to it.. though the map doesnt leave any options.. spread em around a bit.
Colors arent that special, maybe if the map was a tad darker and had a few blue-ish lightsources coming trough the reddish look would be awesome.
very simple map, nice executed, a few of your corners didnt lit up, you can change that though. gameplay isnt that super, but when i look at this map as a whole, its nice.
also sound was way repeatative.
people should chech this out just for the way that red orb get angry.

Now for my comment: Lighting
Yep, my old Quake II days. Reminds me of it! The sky as well as the interior of the map shows nothing but creepy orange! The exterior lighting gives you a feeling unstability and somehow terrifying feeling.
Lay-out
Lay-out is simple enough with a simple round-going exterior and an interior of a small room with a warp light effect.
Textures
The place contains new textures included in the package. The textures look simple but are improved by the lightings' strength. In the interior, you see four citadel windows which look hellishly tall.
Detailing
The map's details can be found quite lacking but the over-all picture of the tower viewed from a farther range shows and extreme of demonic architecture.
Rarity
What's found in this map which is not found in the rest can already be seen just from the screenshot. It looks like a well-programmed set of actors (the lava-globe that seems to float) that link together that form this explosion which charges first emphasized by floating tiles and electircal charges! Quite impressive there. A well executed event that loops for every few seconds.
Recommendation
With everything combined, the ambient forms a 10-mile long tower as said by the read-me which powers a city. It looks like a very terrifying mixture of technology and another thing quite unexplanable.
Yep, it's a worthy death-match map. Bots work properly. Fits the requirements of a multi-player map and is certainly worth your download!!! Let it stay in your hard-drive too.

... that doesn't mean it's a "great" map. It's worth by everything it has, but it has few. Anybody will recognize it's weaker points. I'm eagerly awaiting a NEW map >:) ...

Original style, what would be really appreciate here...(cause for UT there are still many maps for it) The flare in the middle of the arena have almost each 20 seconds a explosion. Some mad people said the idea was ripped by Lord Of the Rings...But I don't think so..
If you fall down you'll get the message: The sight, takes your breath away. a detail, what's make the map better. Detail like that are everywhere in this rary jewel.
The architecture is nice..it suites the map perfectly for my opinion. Inside there are some pilars with an interesting look..nice.
The gameplay is 1on1 style...UT does it made allmost all the times. There's some Z-Axis, that fits well..congrats..
Then...at the end of my comment, there's only one thing to say: Good luck with Cronos...

No man,if i posted a score ,would be slightly less than half.mabye a tad more for the cool sun and workings of the map.
Ah I see,cool,keepa mapping dude.
I will score now,I wish you would have broke up the lightimg more,and dm action is so so,not bad map,but not really good for dm per say.

The only problems I encontered in this map are that the sheildbelt mysteriously vanishes (I know nobody took it because I was playing it alone with no bots and didn't take it myself), and there is NO health at all.
But overall, it's nice.

Couldn't've selected a better music track (which also appears in DOM-Ramses). The orb is just bitchin', not to mention floating bricks. But the map has the vibe of, the final stage, the championship. If i could make my own singleplayer ladder, this is where you would fight the boss.

Yo ppl, The map is updated with some slight changes, added: health, ambientsounds and some InvisCollHuls. And fixed: The ShieldBelt error and an hom effect.
If you're not planning to keep it in your map rotation or server the changes are to minor to reDL it, but I guess that's up to you. V2 has A long way to come and I have another map nearly finished, but my time is filled with school and homework.
@ Indyskyz, Well, tnx for the 7 (even though I find taht overrated :P). As for other maps, I have many, but never really got around finishing them, next to that I'm also leading a project for a new weaponsmod for UT and am also starting the process of a big singelplayer.
But this replying in the comments is not a pleasure for the admins, would you mind registering in the forums?
EDIT: Heey Red I dunno if it was you or ghost, but one of you once said that people may experience it different and in their opinion it's a 9, but a map can't be a 0 unless it has a missing file. If it wasn't you, then nether mind what I just said :)
Red, Thnx for not scorin, it's decent. About the lights, when ya use fog ya can't unlit textures for the lights, because then the fog won't generate where the TXTure is giving an effct like it's cut out of the fog. The windows also use a big number of lights, because they're modulated and offcourse, because they're very, very long, hehe. And about the bricks, I honestly tried to improve it, but the bricks still move into the BSP a little, wich makes them flikker.
And the double doors were really neccesary, they obscure the sudden shift in the zone with and the zone without fog in the D-amp room. And the inside chamber has no fog, because it chewed up the fps.

The special effects were very good, although did nothing for the gameplay. which brings me to the worst part of this map. gameplay.
it was boring after 5 minutes. it was the same everywhere u went, with no places to "own", or no real way of encorporating strategy to your game. the interior with the u-damage was to small to stay inside and camp.
i sum it up like this: visually i give it a 8 gameplay i give a 3 final score IMO = 5
