Overall performance of the map should play better for everybody, including those with slower machines. ok .. this map have reall good improvement
like grass .. more antiportal .. better water andbetter sky box
imho ... this map is one of the greatest for ons ... it worth the try to see how it look like ..

| Moriyosi 09-06-2004 04:10 AM MDT | | Map is loading fine on this end. Improvements are appreciated; the more time I spend with this map, the more I like it. Pity about the botplay, as it definitely affects the amount of use I'm going to end up getting out of this one.
Suggestions for further tweaks:
- Good as the visuals are, there's still a smattering of weird, shadowy seams between textures in locations like the stone spiral staircases and the ceiling of the underground chambers holding the power core. - Some of the slopes leading to the pools outside the main base are a little too sharp to look natural. - The stone torches on the "front porch" of the main bases really need to throw off some kind of illumination around the base; they're standing in pitch black. A very subtle pool of light would be nice here. - Some of the lanterns could probably do with some kind of corona to indicate they're lit - they just don't look like a light source in their present state. - The emitters used to simulate waterfalls are nice, but get cut off at the top. Having actual flowing water plus the emitter might be a better idea. - Spiral staircases in the corner nodes are a little awkward to navigate. Could be a tad wider. - Try toning down the "one size fits all" weapon lockers by restricting the weapon selection they dispense a little and varying the loadout from locker to locker.

Also, the location of the enemies powercore isnt obvious, i ran through the enemies entire base 4 times before i figured it out.

| Monday 03-22-2005 01:34 PM MST | Rating: 7 | | Was an interesting map. I liked the many vehicles available. I don't really play Onslaught maps that much as I find them too far removed from the normal UT standard.
The layout was ok but if you lose your vehicle early there's alot of running to be done.
| G.Lecter 03-26-2005 06:49 AM MST | Rating: 6 | | I remember I downloaded this map a long time ago, it has the best visual work by the author at now, but gameplay is bad IMO: - The map looks great and the skybox definitely rocks. However, the terrain becomes boring between nodes... - Framerates were a little low sometimes... - Again, there is a way too long distance between nodes, only the Mantas and air vehicles are useful here, Scorpions and HBs are OK, but driving a tank is really boring and if I go on foot I have no more choice than take the flak and suicide... - I often ran with only my assaultrifle or a useless lighting gun, there was not a weapon locker beside every playerstart. - The powercore placement was really creative, but quite difficult to find. Only one way to reach the core will make the Flakers' day... - Overall, I did not enjoy this map very much. I remember once I destroyed the enemy core without killing more than 2 bots. Not so many fights as I like, perhaps with lots of players online it would be better...
