Boston MA, is one of the last original cities left in USA untouched by the Skaar war, now the city is proud to be part of the Tourney. The States government constructed the arena ground level so that spectators could see Boston’s skyline, and feel home as the competitors dual in the futuristic arena.

| littlebunny 09-01-2004 09:10 AM MDT | Rating: 7 | | I like this map, lighting was used a bit much though. the flow goes with the music well. not any tex misalignmewnts i saw. the bots like to camp around the guns though .it would be better if you hadnt placed the minigun by the u damage, its a deadly combo. other than that it is worth a 7 in my book
EDIT: hey AJ, the reason why quillion gives low scores on this map is because he is not the arena type person, he would probobly want to be on a terrain map.

Thanks for the comment littlebunny ;) Ill take more care in the weapon and item placement perspective, that is, in my next map.

EDIT: I was in a bad mood at 12am this morning. I didn’t mean to comment that way but I did. I cant undo what is already done furthermore not making any excuses or anything, it was the situation and the time that drove me to that comment. Again i apologize for any rudeness that i may have presented.

Another EDIT: LoL man, ya i was rippin last night ( personal reason) , i just toally lost in on that comment. I agree with your feelings of the Claustrophobic like gameplay, my brother seems to think so aswell. I think has to do with the skyboxes or the window placments idk...
ok back to work... I go ps man, u and my bro either think alike, or its actually cramped in there :) *scratches head*

Your map's lighting goes fine as they are sourced but don't over-use the mixing of too many different colored lights. The architecture is I can say above average since every room is quite nicely detailed. The lay-out of the map feels like a CTF-map rather than a deatchmatch-map but still offers much happy fraggin' to many run-amuck players. It would be nice too if you included some or more ambient sounds because I didn't hear any. The weapon-placement... the inventory is too badly scattered around the map inside rooms or behind ledges.
But your map is very fine! I would accept it as a download-worthy level.
Oh yeah, before you go, don't comment so rashly that way... no one's angry with you. They're just telling you what they saw (or what they thought they saw) as they were playing your map.

| ThaKillaTwinz 09-10-2004 12:37 AM MDT | Rating: 8 | | My favorite map from AJSchiavoni, of the 3 i've played. I dig the lighting, the bots mop the floor with you, and...i don't know. It's just another groovy xtortion map. The hallway with the barrels of slime is a nice touch.
