| | File Name | ctf-inversef.zip | Author | ArcadiaVincennes | Gametype | UT2k4 Capture The Flag | Date Added | 08-24-2004 | File Version | 1.00 | File Size | 1.83 mb | Player Count | 6 - 8 | Map Description | Set in on a lost land floating in space, ringed by boulders and accented by fire and crystals. Stuck in a pocket wormhole discovered by Izanagi scientists during one of their many experiments, it was offered up to Liandri as a tournament setting in return for a generous donation to their research fund.
The bottom of the map is reachable yet limited. The top sports a diverse terrain composed of bridges, a stream emptying into the abyss, two flag bases which are altered very slightly for DM, and fire & crystal inversions that reflect the overall shape of the landmasses. Not a whole lot of direct z-axis but there should be more than enough other things going on to keep you busy.
The CTF version has about 6-7 flag paths, the shortest will take you about 30 seconds to run from your flag to your opponents and back. Of course, that's without any competition.
Recommended player count: 6-8 players.

| Gul Dukat 08-24-2004 03:50 PM MDT | Rating: 7 | | This map has some PROS and CONS to be mentioned. Here they are:
Pros: - Interesting looks - Very innovative skybox - Bots work well - Made for fast and funny matches
Cons: - Much too small (for my taste) - Gameplay nothing special - Layout a bit confusing
So over all a quite good map that´s worth a look. I didn´t regret the download...
