| EvilSwanky 07-19-2004 08:23 AM MDT | Rating: 7.5 | | agreed
| XepptizZ 07-19-2004 11:31 AM MDT | Rating: 7.5 | | The style is pretty original. Nice level. I found two flaws, nothin major anyways. The slime doesn't flow while it clearly should (there's a slime waterfall not going anywhere) and most of your portals need some Textures to be flipt u-pan. This map has a nice gloomy feeling.
| redfist 07-19-2004 04:34 PM MDT | Rating: 5 | | Well,I like it, And it seems to be built ok,zoning etc etc however my framrate goes from high to very low. I looked and there is 525 lights in this level wonder if thats it ? And the only other thing to me is I would love to at least break one window grrrrrrrrr, heh and don't think a 5.0 is a low score I rarely go above a 7.0 Nice sky, nice dm action, but the fps kills it here. What i find is there might be one thing (1 mirrored surface) or somthing that bogs down the whole map. And i also found that lighting really zaps things over and above other mapping stuff. (and folks i played that "DM-Tintagel" for ut2004 and its 88MEG !! and didnt feel any lag at all, wonder how he did that) my system is not fast however it's the same system for all ut and ut04 maps i'v tried.
| Manticore 07-20-2004 03:16 AM MDT | Rating: 7 | | While the map has great lighting and good texture work I'm not so sure if I go for the transparent wall. The transparent flooring works though.....
Bring all your friends, or a full complement of bots.
| D.J Cat 08-29-2004 06:23 AM MDT | | Nice details with the window looking outside and the transperant glass. Even more importantly though is its a good fun map.
| Strogg 08-29-2004 09:27 AM MDT | Rating: 7 | | Solid map with to many polys for ut
| Jez 10-10-2004 10:57 AM MDT | Rating: 9 | | Too many polys? Ran as smooth as anything on my 1.8GHz GeForce 4 PC. Perhaps you ought to think about upgrading :)
Try playing a map of this quality on UT2K4 at 1024x768 and you'd be a watching a slideshow, lol.
