| ThaKillaTwinz 06-16-2004 11:43 PM MDT | Rating: 6 | | iiinteresting...not bad, not as bad as i expected. I believe the readme says it took "a good hour" to build the level. I was thinking "oh no." Well, be sure to set the cap limit high, because flags go quick. Negatives: no z-axis, with the exception of a weapons loft in each base accessible via a lift, the skybox is ugly and there's a killzone above the roof so if you grav-boot jump outside you get killed. Other than that the level is solid and the gameplay is fast. This would be great on a thorns/woot/anda server because it is reminiscent of these yet better than all three. This is the ferrari, the hummer, the lamborghini of thorns/woot/anda style maps.
| John DiFool 06-17-2004 01:30 PM MDT | Rating: 1 | | You're kidding, right? Basically just one long corridor, and spam rules because there is only one way to get into the action from the spawn points-drop right down on top of the flag in full view of the enemy.
And the flag disappeared a couple of times right out- side the blue base. Only good thing is the cameras in each base which look down on the enemy flag rooms.
| Acid_Spudnik 11-27-2005 12:23 PM MST | Rating: 3.5 | | umm..ok...heres what you need to do...get soem botpthing in there...I played it fora a couple of mins and I was fortunate enough to see one bot keep getting the flag....and the defending bots are stuck up top...If you can get some good botpathing in there then you got yaself a DESCEMT map. Also the rule of thumb for a Cap the flag map is to have multiple ways to get to the enemy base...take CTF-DarkCastles for example.Its a nice first attempt..dont give up.
