What the hell is a pistola anyway? Just about every aspect of this map hits hard and heavy; architecture is gorgeous, lighting is spot-on and gameplay spiced up with a generous dose of Z-axis action. Multiple avenues of approach prevent bottlenecking in the flag areas, while at the same time forcing defenders to stay on their toes. Even the otherwise-overdone industrial theme feels relatively fresh, thanks to the addition of a wooded outdoor area. Botplay is as polished as one would expect; all in all, the combined total is as good as anything that shipped with UT2k4, and even better in places. THE BAD: Promotion, Promotion, Promotion. The obscure description and techno-industrial theme are going to inevitably turn people off; if any map needed to do a better job of selling itself, it's this one. THE VERDICT: Fantastic stuff.
