| David-Tran 06-10-2004 06:40 AM MDT | Rating: 4 | | The layout of the map is quite basic. Some of the colors used are not the best. This is the second map I have seen released in the last couple of days that uses colors that really should'nt be put next to each other.Plays ok, but the colors are aweful.Sorry, but that's just my opinion.
| Mattintosh 06-10-2004 03:31 PM MDT | | I'm just glad someone's playing my maps. These sat on my download page for ages. They've not been played much. For the record, this map was made in February 2002.
This is the third in a series of Zelda maps (in case you didn't read the level name). I did them in order, so this was the third map I released. I tried to keep a lot of stuff true to the original layout, even the ratio of the rooms (12x7). The bombable walls (there are 2, IIRC) are there, and I made sure to get the texture alignment right.
The out-of-place high-tech stuff is where the treasure room (holding the Raft) was in the original game. To balance things, I made a treasure room for the other team as well. Both are in a spawn room defended by auto-cannons. I focused heavily on team balance and weapon balance.
I hope that someone at least gets a little enjoyment out of this map, even if for no other reason than it's a gimmicky Zelda map.
