edit: Neco, ahh that did the trick. Weapon/Powerup placement seems good. :)
woot, it works! :)
This map looks excellent, plenty of detail nicely fit together. The layout seems good and size seems about right for 1on1. This is a great 1on1 map with extra emphasis on fragging.
Must download.

ok ,I updated the map, it should work now.
Sorry to all who downloaded the previous version.
Edit: @sandorski: you have to start UT2k4 and then start the map. When you just doubel-klick on the map, their are no powerups and you start with all weapons. I don t know why.

ok not bad, but i found a great deal of lag when you get away from the center of the arena and for the life of me i cant seem to tell if it's the map's prob or mine! im really starting to hate this game since this is the second video card i broght to finally try and get this game to run smooth. i upgraded my computer with 2 things. a "5900SE nvidia inferno graphics card 128 bit apg" and upgraded the ram to 512. the rest lay's untouched which might be the problem(it's a 3 or 4 year old compaq presario)
o sorry...back to the map, it has some texture issues with the dirt at the bottom(repeted small textures)and personaly i dident find that many weapons but that kind of falls back on me since i really dont look for them. on a good note the bot's seem to do pretty good and i kind of dig the whole layout theme. worth a d/l to 1 on 1 fans.
edit:ahhh forgot about the old proccessor. thx keltz

horned demon, if you have a 3-4 year old compaq, im guessing your biggest problem is your cpu is probably crap...your probably running around around a 1.3 ghz p4, thats not really gonna cut it for ut2k4

There's a possibility that this map was built originally for UT2K3 and then rebuilt for UT2K4. That would explain the lack of powerups unless the map is started through the game's front-end and the music which was playing (again) and could only be turned off by opening the map in the Ued, setting the music value in level properties to -1, and then doing a rebuild.
Apart from that it's an intersting 1/1 map with plenty of atmosphere. Very bright and cheery, as far as deathmatch maps go..........

FYI: My girl plays UT2k4 on P3 800Mhz 512 PC3200 400mhz RAM XFX Geforce 4 64 MEg. And has no problem. Maybe not the optimal setup, but it does run pretty well.

hrm ok well this map looks nice... it has a very albatross-style theme which is executed fine...
but after playing it for a little while i couldnt help wondering WHERE'S THE REST OF THE MAP?! basically that 1 screenshot shows you everything...
as a general rule of thumb, any map that will have your opponent spawning in your view CONSTANTLY needs to be changed somehow...
another good rule is that if you put a lower level to a map and NO incentive to go down there (putting the 50 down there woulda worked fine) then it's really not functional, and will simply be ignored...
i have to say i was very disappointed with this map, only because it seemed nice, what little of it there was... if there were more to it, it could be a lot better...
