| DBlue135 05-10-2004 08:41 PM MDT | Rating: 7 | | Hey, alright! I'm a sucker for outdoor desert type maps, so I had a blast. The middle node is a pain to hold onto, though, because it's visable from EVERYWHERE. I'll make you a deal, though: I'll give you more points if you give me more eye candy.

Recommended download.
| Manticore 05-11-2004 07:24 AM MDT | Rating: 6 | | This map started out with so much promise but:
1. Yes, the middle node is too exposed.
2. If you go swimming in the moat around the node with the bridges, either by accident or on purpose, you get stuck underwater and so do any vehicles that end up there.
3. The node base on "the grassy knoll" with the waterfall disappears entirely depending on what angle you approach it from.
4.Given the layout of the map it is just screaming out to be bigger in overall scale.
It's marvelous what the UT2K4 engine does with sand texturing. I thought it was wierd having a snow scene in Egypt until I played the map.
