Map DescriptionFinally, the FINAL version, has extra eye candy and fixed bot paths for your gaming pleasure:)

Center island is the focal point, it spawns raptors so you can attack the enemy core, but look out for the dual stationary turrets, they'll rip you to shreds.
Best with a high score to acheive, like 7-10 scores to win a game.

I'm obsessed with the ASX bomber and Cluster Redeemer mutes on this map, and with Super Beserk and Light Weight Vehicles :o It's freakin Heaven!

Personally I like this map more than some of the stock ONS maps. Very fast paced, and when used with super beserk, light weight vehicles and Regeneration, it's an absolute blast:)

There is a v3.0 coming out (Sexy_beach-final) that has no floating entities and more bot paths so they actually sneak around the outside instead of just charging up the middle.

Look mapper....

Your screenshots make the map look like a really tempting download but, honestly, there are so many people bringing out maps and then making changes and bringing out another version. Did you ever consider just doing the fixes first and then delivering a "finished" version? Ultimately no admin is going to put your map up on server rotation if there are a million different versions floating around and users will just become frustrated with version mismatch errors when they try to play it online.

At least you warned people that this is not a final version.....

Hey! That was my idea! But seriously........(aaaaahahahaha)

Oh, that's right; the map. There are somethings about this map which show a hell of a lot of promise, there are other things about this map which bug me severely......

It needs a lot of work. The lazer turret whatsits shouldn't have a clear shot to the next node, the texture on the huts needs fixed, the water goes away for some reason when you go swimming, I'm pretty sure the manta isn't suppost to go underwater, and the edge of the world is just. . . bad. . .

This is a great looking map with lots of eyecandy everywhere! I'm not too keen on the base Turret's ability to take out Nodes though, but I haven't played the map enough yet to know how that will affect gameplay under various circumstances..

Update: Hmm, some of the changes I like. The Submarine and Battleship, and the volcano, but IMO the water looks worse(too jerky). Something else I noticed was that with the Raptor could get high enough at the edge of the Red Base to see Grass in the middle of the water surrounding the Map. Also, having played the map more, I really think there needs to be a hill or somethig so that Turrets can't reach the other bases.

I'm taking off 1 point, but I still think this Map has some real nice Graphics, they just are shackled by some oddities as mentioned above.

i know, its an extreme example, but this was just the feeling this map gave me. the small house is not even textured, the water doesnt seem finished and neither do the edges. bot needs work too.

it sure has a lot of potential though. the skybox is awesome, the link setup original and there's a lot of fun small details, like the shark in the water. i think this map will be great when its finished, and i'll not give it a rating until then, cuz i dont think my rating now will do the final version justice.

I liked this map simply because of the location he was trying to achive but there are some bugs in it (mainly water), i look foward to the final version.

PsyOps Ranger: When will the final version be out? I've been waiting to try this one for a while. It looks great in the screenshots, but i havn't downloaded it because i'm not going to waste time downloading unfinished maps with Dial-Up.

Yeh, totally agree with sandorski's update. I mean can the author really call this a final version? The look of this map is strange (especially the water) and I don't like the node setup either. Still, this map deserves some credit for the fun gameplay (probably due to improved bot pathing) and that amazing skybox.

I feel that the map is WAAAAy too open that it is too hard to find any cover from AvRIL rockets, or keep a node without rebuilding it 30 times, or get runover by truck on the halfway .
Yoiu need to have more cover up places. and all nodes are facing each other.... that's a real NONO in ONS! I mean CMON- the enemy get one node< and they can pick your out even if they keep respawning where they got killed(I mean at the node). so you get into that boring shoot cycle.

ADD MORE COVERS. and do something with your overscaled water texture.
