Manticore 05-08-2004 02:02 AM MDT Rating: 5   Cobra: I downloaded all your maps and tried them. Rock and Snow wouldn't run as there seemed to be packages missing. Lavaspeed had some nice use of custom movers and both that and this map have some interesting visual touches such as the artwork you've imported and custom coloured health vials. In my opinion the best thing about your maps is the size and the layouts. At least you've tried to be original, but my taste won't stretch as far as the boxy architecture and terrain (ok, I know it's UT99) which doesn't appear to be "realistic" and the texture usage which doesn't appear to me be thought through to having some cohesive er, "look". I had to think long and hard (a couple of days actually) about posting a comment at all about this map and this is the best I could do. You have the right to be offended by my comments and maybe I've missed the point entirely but, quite frankly, in my opinion, I find this map a bit "ugly". Sorry.............. Additonal comment:... and what I meant to say is that because of the layouts there is nothing wrong with the gameplay. I like large scale CTF maps so that element of your maps is appreciated. Me I really like it, good game play, and good layout. Sorry if you don't like it. Like I said I really respect your opigion. And you where man enought no to post childish remark's or some stupid thing's. And I really thank you for it. And thank's for your honesty. EDIT: For CTF-Snow and CTF-Rock: Tell me what files is missing, and I will send them to you. EDIT: Buffyslayer. Yes I will, I'm working on it right now, It will be done in about 2 week's. Cause I have so many maps to path. So I really don't have time, but like I said, I have srated on it. And thank's for the good word's. EDIT: Manticore. Thank's again for your comments. My new map will not be bloky that I can tell you. I'm working CTF-FortresIV for UT2k4. And after it is finish, I will keep working on my other map.
