| XepptizZ 05-06-2004 08:08 AM MDT | Rating: 2 | | I like the boat, wich reminds me of as-frigat. It even has the button wich you need to push at the end. It's like you've opened as-frigat, selected all actors and brushes needed for the boat and copy past it!!!
There's even a platform wich is actually a total level he copy, past!!! It was a level I've played after downloading it, DM-1-on-1-MetalReality, it's still here on NC.
But my point is that some things in this level does look nice, but those things are ALL RIPPED!!!
[A 2 for the music eich you've probably ripped]
EDIT: GamePlay Ain't that great either, it's way to big and not enough long-range weapons. About the rippin part, If it's true what you say ,ya could copy-past a whole map, add something crap to it and call it your own? Technical: Maybe Ethical : No, way!!!
And by the way, in the read-me he didn't give any credit to the original creators of the used brushes.
Edit:In ut 99 BRUSHES AREN'T THE SAME AS MESHES!!!

THAT IS THE SAME THING AS IN UT2003 and 2004 , WHERE PEOPLE USES THE SAME STATIC MESHES OVER AND OVER AGAIN! ARE you TRYING to say that UT20042003 should make all of the static meshes on their own??? It can be a ripoff , if he took objects from non official maps (custom maps) where he have to ask for author's permission. So if he didn't make anything on his own, yes then it is a complete rip off. But he made some of his own stuff. Judge , how map plays, the layout < and how well the Brushes are used !
EDIT- I strongly agree about the gameplay and the layout.It runs like a 3 legged dog. Also Terrain doesn't make sense, and fishes were realy unnecessary touch. BLEAh. Yes That does suck also in no credit to authors anywhere. And also, What the hell is wrong with helicopter blades??? 2 for musac :) 2 for dumping all things into it, -1 for fishes and unthoughtful layout. SRY pall |: PS and lighting is a one bigas POOOOO and BLEAH!

| radius 05-03-2004 06:53 AM MDT | | Iknow that this map is a copy and arrengement of some others maps but i make this for our sniper server i also make modifications of many maps. iF YOU WANT MAKE A GOOD MAP YOUR OBLIGIED TO COPY EXISTING MESHES OR you will pass 1year to make one map and if you doesn't work ;). Criticism is easy but art is difficult!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| nalicitymaphunter 02-03-2005 02:39 AM MST | Rating: 4.5 | | I had fun playing this map. But I do have some complaints. I played it offline against 13 bots. I found they tended to be clustered in just a few areas, mostly inside the ship. There should be more spawn points to spread the players around the map more.
On the positive side, there's a lot of variance to the map with a lot of different areas to play in, so it should be a lot of fun online against human players. Also, the music is good. Incidently, regarding XepptizZ's complaint that the music may be ripped, if he read the file tag, it does credit the tune (called "Totalizer") to Mr. Stewe from PsykkoPhobia Bros. (You can read the tag in any music player software that can read umx music files, such as Winamp with the umx add-in.)
Anyway, who cares if textures or whatever else has been ripped. It can be fun to play. However, it would be nice if Radius would improve it a bit, such as along the lines of his excellent map DM-[BBST]-Airport, which is a lot of fun to play, having a good layout with lots of spawn points spread around well.

It's not ment for run and gun so it's not going to flow. Bot pathing could be added to keep the bots from sitting around but other than that it's pretty good. BTW R@dius, where are all your other maps? BBST-Thailand, BBST-Chinawall, ect? Those are much better than the ones on NALICITY.
