Other than the middle area(bridge) it didn't remind me of 2-Fort, but I did enjoy the map after I figured my way around. I think it's a pretty good map except the Turrets and Hovercraft don't really work in such a small map. The bots played well and the 2 center Nodes is a neat idea.

Not very good, a bit small and really isn't the most imaginative design. Doesn't really fit onslaught at all.

Does not fit as an ONS map more of a CTF map. ONS is realy about the jumping in a car and messing things up, and about big maps. Why even put the manta in? there is no room for it. Same with the turrets there simply is no room for them. I will give you extra points for putting the nuke in a nice hide away, as those should always be harder to get and for the fort design. Would be nice if the forts were father apart though. Like maybe have a huge bridge span between them.

it's just too boring and spammy... sorry :( nice idea, but badly done. i hope you make a new one someday, but a lot larger this time, and more outdoor space between the forts.

Spammy yes, kinda unigue for ONS and does offer some varied routes to the base. Underwater node does offer something a bit different. Mantas wasted. But I do jump in online every now and then for a little spamfest.

It's a nice attempt, but I really don't think ONS suits this map. I would suggest that the water be took out, quite a bit of terrain adding between the bases, and the 'underwater' tunnels replacing with some bunkers of some sort.
Maybe I should add two powercores to my 2Fort map :)

Not worth the download, even for curiosity value; file size is somehow larger than ONS-Dawn and ONS-Torian combined, whilst offering a mere fraction of the entertainment value of either. Comments for the author:
Layout and Architecture. As an Onslaught map, ONS-2fort is an unmitigated failure; the sole vehicle in the entire level has so little room to manuever that getting behind the wheel is only one step off from signing your own death warrant. Architecture is bland and angular, with a mazelike sequence of absolutely identical corridors connecting equally nondescript square chambers. Hallways are so narrow that bots are forced to walk single-file, leaving no room for dodging or manuevering; rocket launchers and flak cannons are instantly lethal. The base layouts need to be simplified and opened up for playability's sake; a serious facelift couldn't hurt, either.
As for the actual gameplay, ONS-2fort's node layout borders on the ridiculous; there is no appreciable benefit to siting two nodes on top of each other, let alone placing one of them underwater. Cut the bottom node out entirely, increase the amount of space between the two bases by an order of 500, widen the hallways to four times their current size at the barest minimum and increase the number of vehicle spawns, and you may have the beginnings of a playable Onslaught map on your hands.
