I thought the map was going to be a little larger than it was for some reason, but it works for 6-8 players. I played with 6 bots and was constantly involved in action, due in part to the good bot pathing. The map is not a knock-down beauty, nor is the geometry complex, but everything looks okay when you consider the theme. Z-axis is provided via sand dunes and the varying height of the tomb. Stairs and a lift helps you change your latitude, while buckshot in the butt helps you change your attitude. I’d say the gameplay is the nicest feature of the map. With the constant action and the good item placement, you are constantly busy scrambling for good weapons and trying to stay out of harm’s way. Although the author has some mapping experience, this is a first-attempt at a UT map and it turned out rather well, considering.

Cool mutator dude, crawling beneath the sand, the bot's can't frag ya' down here! Kind of tough to get some of the stuff though. Neat concept, pretty good lay out, would have been a pretty good map except for that one thing, perhaps better testing before release, IMO.
