DM-1on1-Frenzy is a larger version of DM-Training day, But not by much. Nothing original or new here to see. The maps visuals are well placed for what it is as for the exception of the very red lavaish pool in the middle. The skybox is nice but it is the same one from Phobes. Textures are aligned and placed in correct places. The theme is simple but works. Static placement is very alike to many UT2k3 maps that use this set also. As for looks it is visually as good as DM-Training Day.

I found that this map had very low fps for the amount poly counts it actually had. I looked in ued and saw that it lacked any good optimizations. I also saw the 2 water surfaces had a lot of sections, This could be the problem with the massive slow down. AI was standard the bots knew where to go etc. It has sounds but nothing really special. Needs work on optimizations.

Weapon placement on this map is also basic and nothing special. The main weapons are in a corridor that are easy to Spam and protect. The other weapons are outside in the circular room. With the power up in the middle, With a lava bit I might add. Game-play is boring and has no added nit bits that you can learn while playing this map. Maps that offer one linear path to everything is dull and unimaginative. The flow of this level is layout of eight or the infinity sign.

Overall this level feels stock visually (The design of this map is directly copied from UT2k3 DM-Training Day). The maps flow is very boring which is sad because I rather would like a level with flow instead of great visuals. If you like Dm-Training Day download this map if your like many people though this map will not satisfy you.

For some unknown reason the screenies you see have somehow changed colour, the blue should be red. You should also know that these screenies have only a small resolution, in the game it looks much nicer. :P
This is my first map (a little corny) but still, be gentle and comment as soon as you see any flaws that have not been fixed. Thanks in advance.

P.S.: Thanks for the update of name, but I still don't quite get your clue about jagged lines. Are some of the textures not aligned correctly or something? Or can you use another word for jagged, my English isn't that good as my first language is Dutch. (yes I'm from the Netherlands) Oh yeah and you're right about the 1on1 part, I found myself pretty frustrated every time I tested it with 2 masterful bots. :(

And of course I love the danger of risking your virtual life to grab that Superhealth / Supershield or Double Damage. Especially when someone can shoot you off that platform with the shock rifle :D

New update: Now that I've gained more knowledge of UEd I'm gonna redo this map, add an additional level, and make sure it's framerates are way better. The thought alone that I made this map.... shiver me timbers

For your first map i commend you on the try, it reminds me of Training Day. It runs good, but have to say you need to clean up your lines to jagged even up close. I would rather this be a 1on1 for the size and with more folks it will play fast. I like what i see in this your first map, make a few adjustments and make it shine.

Update
If you look at any line, the pipes, wall surface, or some line on the floor you see a ruff texture not a smooth line. Stand in the hall and look through to the other side the beams overhead and the strips in the floor, see how they have a jagged line.
As for the 1on1 i ment it better played with 2 people any more and there would be a lot of back shots, me i like a face to face match, not an easy kill.
UPDATE
Name now fits the map, cranked up the bot level and had a real head to head, doin't miss the super health jump and get of that platform fast.

i wouldnt rate this map so high becuz its just a bigger edtition of training day noyhing new in it
