Map DescriptionA short range map of Capture the flag, one rail in the middle for battle, two teleporters for a quick recuperation action. This map is designed so you can get your flag quick in case you respawn in the low area.

DOWNLOAD this map, dont't judge it for its pic only. Its pretty complex (design). The flags shown in the picture are decorative only, the real flags are inside. I can see that you have judged the map only for its pic, because if you have tested the map, you can see that the flags in the pic are really too high for taken it. I have uploaded another screenshot with more brightness, I can see the policy of you guys: "In the pic looks awful, I rate the map 1"

That kind of think is wrong, download the map, and regret the rating. NaliCity is more than guys judging a map for the pic its show. Sorry for my english.

EDIT: DiFool, the bug of the flag showing green doesnt happen to me, its designed for internet play, i mean its a fast CTF, plagued with velocity (thats my idea, if i done it) I have not mention it in the description, but thats mi first map (finished) ive got a lot of maps unfinished. Thank you for your review anyway, this helps me to improve.

EDIT: (yeah, again) OK, I dont care what you think of my map, it gave a lot of work to complete it. I speak spanish, so think the trouble to use the editor, I get lost most of the times with so many options I cant understand. Second, In my comunity of players, I am the best mapper that the comunity ever met. Yeah, I know that for you is no good, but ill suggest to play this map on LAN with the recomended players, and then give an rating again. They have uploaded the map on a server in Argentina, and the map is very famous because is so fast, and has too many action. Play this map on LAN, and then tell me. zenpunk, I thanks to you once more to understand the idea of this map. Since is symethrical (or whatever) its has so many action, and the map itself it has an original theme, I mean, i have seen so few fast CTF maps like mine. So, if you rate it just because you did a better map, thats not the point. Judge the map for a overall, dont judge it because "I have done better maps than this one". Anyways, I like my map so much. And in my country, they love my maps, so the rating that the user give him to the map, I really dont care. Thats all I have to say. Sorry for my english is very poor, but enough to take out my ideas. Download this map, anda have fun with it (if you do).

Yes, the flags in the shot aren't the actual flags...

Two base symmetrical design, two entrances, one sniper
next per side, a series of crisscrossing gangways over
slime (the slow killing kind). Bots get stuck quite a
bit, and the blue flag is GREEN on the hud display at
the right. You also have a teleporter shortcut which
places you squarely in the middle of the map on the
gangways, which makes caps difficult. Nothing really
special or fun about this, sorry.

[Edit: I play against bots almost exclusively, and if
they don't work the map isn't getting a good score.
And it isn't a great map otherwise...]

This is why you should not take user rating to heart. This map is a 1 or 2? Please! Don't take it heart Raulo ... they're obviously frustrated, jealous mappers.

Anyway, this map is pretty slick in my book... it's probably a bit small for most, but perfect for my small group that plays together.

Beautiful work... Nice job!

Once, just *once*, I'd like to see the dingleberries who give good maps a score of 1 or 2 show me thier own creations they think are better. Of course, they won't, 'cus they can't.

A nice little map. Zenpunk, a friend and talented mapper himself, gave this a 9. He must have been drunk or in a charitable mood at the time. Nevertheless this map is good fun for small groups like ours.

EDIT: Have played this map several more times since my comments above and come to the conclusion a 5 is more accurate. This map tires quickly.

Pretty nice, like the idea of the fake flags. It keeps ppl saying "WTF? why cant i get this!" :)

needs much bot support - i cant practivce well with out bots -

atchisss... ejem veamos. no le eches la culpa el editor por estar en ingles. yo tampoco hablo ingles i puedo usar el editor bien, ademas las cosas verdaderamente complicadas parece ke las usas sin problemas.

No te kejes por el tres ke te he puesto pero kreo ke es lo merece este mapa:

-1º el aspecto del mapa es bastante simple. las tipicas dos bases opuestas, con una sala gigante en medio. hay cosas como esos lightboxes ke has puesto ke son bastantye feos (odio cuando son tan grandes ke atraviesas en suelo). la uluminacionn es practicamente con luces blancas i algunas vienen de ninguna parte (esto es ke no salen de ninguna lampara. los ascensores ke hay en los pasillos cerca del arama de impuslos ... bueno aki el problema son las barandillas ke bajan SOLO CUANDO LAS TOCAS. con lo cual te kedas atascao un segundo. Ademas toda la zona donde estan los player starts es muy estrecha i kasi no caben 2 personas a la vez. los bots solo atacaban por un lado kreo i mas de una vez vi komo se reunian en la entrada de mi base i komo me los cargaba de vez :D. ademas en la zona central te pasaste kon los movedores, habia un monton de ellos ke ni sikiera hacian que el mapa tuviera mejor aspecto. tantos movedores de vez mas unas cuantas luces dinamicas, mas los efectos del rayo mas todos los bots pegando tiros provocaron ke mi pc sufriera un bajon considerable de fps.

2º para mejorarlo: mejora la luz, esto es ke no uses solo color blanco y pongas contrastes entre lugares kon mucha luz i lugares kon poca luz.

kita los movedores de la zona central porke no ayudan al mapa, no hacen ke sea mas bonito pero si que añaden lag (mucho lag) y procura usar cosas komo pilares, rejillas tubos etc.

los bots, mejora el botpathing, de veras le hace falta.

las texturas.... weno se supone ke el mapa esta dentro de una ciudad? pos no lo parece, busca por internet algun pack de texutras urbanas mas realuistas: las de UT dan bastante askito.

creo ke esto es todo lo ke habria ke mejorar.

ademaas no me parece bien ke digas ke "komo sus mapas son mejores pos a tit e ponen un 0" juega a mapas wenos de verdad i comprenderas kuales son los requisitos minimos de un mapa para tener un 5. prueba los mapas de davidm o paranoid o kami o strogg dr pest.

y si vas a insultarnos a todos (cosas ke a mi me da igual) pos al menos insultanos en ingles, para ke nos enteremos todos (sobre todo los ke no hablan español)

por cierto he notado kon los de america del sur teneis una mala ostia increible xD os pikais enseguida no?

Wow ! Beatiful for LAN players like us. Good work Raulo. Is this your first map here ? I ts a damn fast CTF map, sometimes I get a very exciting fighting when the enemy has my flag and I have to hide in the lower part !!

i dunno where u guys got 2 from i thought it was quite good
its got preasurisation chambers how many of those do you see
the movers are made from a few brushes to look like a real lift same with the windows
ok its a bit cramped
the cielings have trim like things on it which looks good
definatly worth an 8

While not a great map, its certainly worth more than 2 which should be reserved for CTF-Andaction type maps. At least the author has put some effort & thought into it & will probably only get better the more maps he does.

Because I'm from Argentina I talk in spanish:

Bueno, me cansé de hablar en inglés. El mapa que hice no es nada al lado de este, pero aún así hay gente que tiene tanta paja que no se baja los mapas para mirarlos (ya saben quienes son) y prefieren ver la screenshot porque piensan que pueden hacer mejores mapas ¿no?. Raulo hizo un muy buen mapa desde su primera versión y aún así nadie se puso a ver la v4 para cambiar su comentario. Es más: ahora importa más la screenshot de un mapa que el mapa en sí para algunos ¿no?

i dont think its worth a two, there certainly alot worse out there than this.
