Map DescriptionA(nother) futuristic installation-type CTF map. It was created over a year ago, but at that time I wasn't very satisfied with it so I never released it. But I played it recently and figured "what the heck, I've seen worse..." =)

The first thing that came up with me was "Oh no, not another coret looking one...". I was a bit scared of Arroway, based on what I saw on screenshots and where I spawned. A long boring corridor ahead of me, I clicked. I just didn't got telefragged by my teammate Alarik and I started my search for the enemy flag. I went up and down, left and right and suddenly I got blinded by this white looking thing. Wondering what this strange thing was I went closer and closer. Suddenly it became clear: it was a stairway. “Woew, watch out with those textures mate I yelled, although I was clearly aware the author wasn’t standing next to me. Take a look at the screenshot I made of it.

The design of the map seems solid in most cases, existing out of basic things with now and then some nice details, mostly trimmed surfaces or control panels. Visually I’ve seen a lot better maps, but this one compensates it with a nice solid gameplay. Some places are to dark, others to bright. I didn’t had the feeling this map was designed to be a very high detailed piece of art, but rather a map to be played a lot. Remarks on that are the room-corridor-room syndrome, which gets boring after a while.

I would place this map in the same category as all the other public server maps. It’s good, avarage to above avarage in my opinion, but theirs something missing to be an outstanding superb map.

hmmm...

It's got something...
nice Layout, though bit confusing...
IMHO, there's too many deep pits... you should have use nitrogen zones or something like that to kill me on the way down...

A bit too clean and boring with straight lines, few textures, and it's too easy to fall for my taste.
