Wow! Amazing original concept map Its awesome to see concepts like this being created with the engine Visually stunning I only wished the castles were a bit more photorealistic but with the map already weighing in at 27.78mb I am hardly complaining. I found the flow to be \'choppy\' negatively affecting gameplay Great i think though even in spite of that.
Sorry I cant rate something i consider art however i'm unable to comment without rating so six

This is a great map for a lan party, granted you have the following items: A lot of players, a lot of time, and a hell of a good PC to run this map. If you check my specs, I cold run the map, but right afterwards UT2003 was ultra slow.

The design is pretty good. You can get to the opponent's castle either above ground or below ground. The only problem is that because of how high the catapults launch you, you lose a lot of health on impact down even if you hit the top of the castle. Not a good effect gameplay wise. While underground, you have red and blue lava respective to the teams, but they should to a bit more damage if that's what they're intended to be. It took a while to find the flag, but you need to use the jump pads in the castle to get there, and take each of the platforms down or use the higher walkways. The Z-Axis is overall too far apart to allow enough safe jumping without getting hurt.

This map could use more items as well. If you intend for a lot of people to play, enough weapons need to be around, other than the scarce minigun or rocket launcher in obvious areas. Same goes for health. The Lightning Gun doesn't do much for sniping since the castles are too far apart to get that good a clear shot.

Back to the good stuff, the skybox is excellent. Definitely defines the arena. A North Pole-like environment is a good choice from the all-too-commonplace Egyptian / Industrial themes.

Worth the download, get a lot of players, just hope your system can handle it during, and after playing.

while the skybox is pretty, not much else is. it's a little confusing and too wide open..

I have to agree, that the stunning look of the skybox and the aweinspiring details like the dragons are disturbed by areas that are rather bland. Like the castles. The living area or, well basically the whole castle. Also, gameplay is a bit frustrating. Difficult to get orientation and i found myself running about searching other players, especially ones with a flag in the left hand... :)
Anyway: every map that goes a new way is a good map imo!
