This was one of my favorite classic UT CTF maps. I played it with Bots and online lots of times. The new one is just like the original but looks better.
Too many conversion maps from UT to UT2K3 are not very good. Some are lame attempts to copy the geometry of the map and add in a bunch of static meshes for filler. This one is different, it belongs to that small, exclusive list of conversion maps that are above and beyond the norm.

I dont see whats so great about this map (and I'm also talking about the original UT map). Sure, it looks 100x better than the original, but its the same old unbalanced map with the bases different but in a bad way. the blue flag is 10x harder to get to, and just has hard to escape the blue base with having to walk up that narrow beam. The red flag is much easier to get to and escape with. That is bad.

i liked that map from the beginning. when you see that black and white preview of the old map turning into the new one... that's pretty cool.
like 1/2LuNaTiC already said, it feels a little empty in some places but that's a very minor flaw i think - also some of the textures were a little too low-res imo.
but on the whole it's really nice work!

Thanks but id recommend getting the UT2K4 version as ironically this version is only for UT2003. (Its Epic's fault, they broke netcode). New version can be found here: http://nalicity.beyondunreal.com/view_author.php?aid=2164
