Tuul, the evil moon of Endor...ok, not really, but it sure looks like it.

Well I will have to say that this map certainly has a different theme to it. The architecture comes mostly from cylinders and cones to make these "hut" like buildings in the trees. Nothing great to look at, but it is different looking. Although I will say the railings are nicely aligned with the curve of the platforms.

The architecture doesn't allow for good texturing. Of course, being in a forest, the main textures are wood. A lot of mis-alignments in curved walls/floors. The background texture is really strange looking too.

As for lighting, well there are no light sources, so maybe the forest fungus produces the light or something, should have put in torches to light the way. There are some lamps in the neutral area, but nothing really in the bases. At least the lighting isn't flat throughout, there's red and blue for the respective bases.

BUILD: 1
One sound in the map, and it's for a torch in a small room. Brush-work is rather basic cylinders and cones, nothing real complex. The skybox isn't pretty either.

CAST: 1.5
There is some decent gameplay here. Bots can capture the flag, but they didn't seem to defend as well. Not much for weapons and ammo in the map. Most weapons are stocked in rooms where players spawn, so at the start, one player will grab the 2 or 3 weapons, and the rest of the players will have squat. Flow is ok, there is a lot of options for routes, but no real incentive for any other than less resistance or shorter distance.

SCORE: 3.5
If there was the option, this map would deserve a bonus point for originality or unique setting. Not much else here other than an idea that needs work.

i only hope my mapping skills get this good.

set in a forest this map see's you on some hut roofs
and walkways with a few walkways going high and around the outside nice for snipers.
this map offers loads of flag routes in but not many out altho this does nothing to harm game play. when you look at it its pretty small map, but it looks huge
the textures and lighting suit the map perfectly
and the bots do it all correctly.
the only slight thing that gets me is weapon places and the lift when you spawn when you run on it you
sometimes get thrown off or left behind.
but all in all this is a great map to play feels really nice playing it. i'd say download it now!

This is the coolest map I've seen in a while. The well-chosen background really gives you a sense of being high in the tree tops fighting mano-a-mano with the god-forsakeen blue team. I didn't really like how the weapons were just bunched up in a little room. I was in a close fire-fight with Cryss, she sprints for such a room, in go in and next thing I know I have a flak cannon in my face and, in a split second, I'm in about four or five pieces over the ground. That's my only problem with this map. The rest is runs quite smoothly. This is rare quality in a map. To please both the eye and the trigger finger.

This map had...potential. I look at the theme (sort of
a Lothlorien setting in huge trees), and wish that it
was just a WEE bit more polished. The trees in the
playing area look like telephone poles (and have no
tops, or supposedly the tops are hidden in that awful
grey "mist" above). But the gameplay is pretty good-
try this with rocket arena, and use the high side paths
and dodge all the rockets that will be coming your way.

When the light in the skybox flikkers ya can clearly sea the square skybox[weak]
More paths to get the flag couldn't hurt a bit.
By the way, at least try to find better TXTRS voor your clouds and add some stars or something in that direction. The theme is greatly chosen yet not nicely done in the map.
Overall I don't think it's worth it.

Just gave it a long walk through, no real play.
Based on that though, I have to say it deserves points for concept. Also points for flow—plenty of routes between bases without being too convoluted. Decent item placement too, except for lack of armor (why? or should I say where?).
There could be more textural variety despite the arboreal setting. Lighting is fair, providing apropriate atmosphere. Strangely, the background looks good only when playing at a reduced screen size (Control F), with a nice eerie green glow and tree trunks fading into the gloom, but an ugly flat texture (no depth) at full size. Maybe it's just my computer. Oh yeah, the skybox implementation
is lame.

Very good map. But the flow is really bad. The bots take only one route. So they are very easy to kill. But the idea is very good. And the sky box is hugly as hell.

CTF probably isn't my favourite gameplay but I like this map. Great oldskool concepts (including the sounds) and an interesting spin on the "aboreal" concept.

If anything it may be a bit too small scale for great CTF but I think this mapper shows some potential for originality.

So I'm rating this map...

the skybox is horrible but map plays nice, it's fun and thos little wooden rooms with weapons are fun

a remake of this map with a better skybox would make this map one of the better maps around
