First of all, full credit goes to the original UT authors, Entropy and OZ, for this map. Beholden is one of my favorite maps for UT and since I mostly play UT2003 now, I haven't been able to play it nearly as much. I wanted to add more static meshes to make it more like a UT2003 map, but it didn't "feel" the same. So, I added just a few new things to it but left it basically like the original because I liked the original feel of it. Enjoy!

Not bad, it's Beholden all right. There's going to be a lot of whining from certain quarters around here about using the old UT textures though.

Framerates are very low outside. I suspect that's due to all the grass meshes which have been placed individually rather than as deco layers on terrain. They show all the time and don't get removed on lower detail settings like they should. The grass doesn't look natural either, evenly spaced clumps neatly lined up on a perfectly flat surface.

Also some of the static meshes show some bad texture stretching... Arch trim in particular.

It's kind of cramped around the amp. The trees get in the way too much.

Has potential but needs more work. Fix the grass and arches and I'd give it a 5. Retexture it and I'd probably go 6 or more depending on how it turns it out.

The XL version is really, really frikking huge. Not gonna comment seperately on it, but I noticed a lot of the movers in it were silent... Not sure if that's because they don't have any sound or if they were just being drowned out by the loud wind.
