But now the peace is over and the Tournament begins...well, whatever
This is a small map for DM play in a kind of ancient ruins setting. It was inspired by a Q3 map I played on the beautiful Dreamcast... rest in peace ;) | Review Rating | -- | User Rating | 6 | Overall Rating | -- |

I really do like this map. Strangely enough, with the environment, the symbol on the floor in the center of the map, the trees in the background, the rain and the overall feel of this map, I felt like I was almost (almost) playing in an Everquest Level.
It is a seriously close and personal map. Definately 1 on 1, even though the 4-bot default starting on the map made for quite a perfect level fight.
As for the **possible** 8 -- it would have gotten the 8 if the foliage were more 3 dimensional. Some more foliage here and there would have added just the right touch to the environment of this map. It felt too much like all of the green was just "painted" onto the walls. If there were a way to get some dimensional highlights into the foliage it would have been really nice.
As for a score of 9 -- it could have reached that too, but I had to dock another point due to pathing. I decided I was killing bots too fast and went into God Mode and watched the bots a bit. They still could not figure out how to get to the damage amplifier. It is a VERY easy task to get to for the player, but the bots never even tried.
Definately do not use quad-jump mod in this level if you are against other players or it becomes too easy to get to the amplifier. I like the slight challange of running the walls without getting knocked off there along the way. I tried the level with quad-jump and it was just way too easy to just jump up and grab the thing. That has nothing to do with my scoring, of course -- I just wanted to throw that in as a tip for gameplay here.
I definately like it, and it will definately stay in my LAN party rotation. Small 2 - 4 player map, not overly packed unrealisticly with weapons and yet still a few nukes to hide in. And a small/quick download at that. I like it. If you upgrade with foliage and make the bot pathing so that bots will also go after the amplifier I would pounce on that as well :-)

Total fragin' map.
