When I fired up this map in game, it really gave me a nice feeling. It had a warm impression. Color usage in cobination with the textures looked good for me. Aligning seems pretty OK. No big advanced stuff. A few nice made decorations in the map which give it a nice theme effect. It really looks Egyptian. I don't have any big remarks on this. Just the detail could be a little more suffisticated.
The map consist mostly out of basic shapes. Sometimes it looks to small. For example the walking platform inside the two bases. It has no support, like it floats against the wall. A few twisted walkways, but that's about it. Also the pain zone don't seems a good idea to me. It doens't fit in Egypt for me. Maybe someone else has a different opinion about it, but certainly not for me. Construction seems solid though in game. Maybe their could have been a little more terrain editing. The outside areas have flat floors. When you have to make a floor with sand on it, brake it up. Try to make some small dunes in it.
The map plays fluent. No big open spaces, except for the central area. Not to small also. Weapon placement is normal, not spectacular. I didn't noticed a point where you could have a disadvantage. Always some weapons in the neighbourhood.
Conclusion The finishing touch of this map could be done better, and it would have reached the standard epic maps level in my opinion. A nice to play map that can porovide you some fun. It's not a high detail map, not a magnificent gameplay map. But I've seen far worse maps, so overall it's not really bad. |

You have 3 floor-level entrances into the flagrooms, and one higher-level one (usable only via Tloc, no jump boots here for some strange reason). Games tend to be intense with a goodly number of caps. Awe and build are more than good enough for me.
