This is an incredibly good Invasion map. Plenty of open space on the outside of the pyrmaid, perfect for dodging Warlord missiles, and plaenty of ammo and weapons. The pyramid itself is also quite nice, with 3 different levels connected by a tunnel in the middle that brings you further up the pyramid. The halls are big enough to manuever around in, too. My advice for playing it, though: Stay away from the pyramid! Monsters swarm it like there's no tomorrow!

A pretty nice map. I'm more of a wide open spaces, mow them down with rockets type of guy so I had a lot of fun with this. Great for invasion too. Don't let the mummy get ya!

The design suits the gameplay of invasion, but as a map its kind of basic. Not great, but good.
Bossman, im starting to get really tired of your "just because" comments. why not come up with something more thoughtful to say?

This is a good map for invasion; just you and the wide open spaces...
Really like the anti-gravity tube to access the upper levels of the pyramid. Speaking of anti-gravity; being able to walk up the sides of the pyramid is a bit bizarre but makes for interesting and fun invasion gameplay....
Fabulous sandstorm skybox. Look straight up and you might get vertigo...
The sphinx mesh is semi-solid between the paws and you can walk inside the mesh from there (error?)....
Strictly INV this one....

mmmf i think u overrate this map its just a big cube with a pyramid made in 2dshapeedtor and a uggly sandstorm flyingg above. that sphinx really didnt look like it should be there and that deemer. u couldnt get it without translocator and the mesh were sticking out of the pyramid i dont understand how u guys can vote ten for this crap its just a cube with an unaligned pyramid in the middle oooh my god ure better than hourences 0 is to balance the score

I wasn't too fussed with this map. The whole thing is a bit too basic for even UT standards. The skybox could use a lot of work and there is no attempt at making the huts or tunnels look like anything but simple shapes. I think the map could have been better in this respect, and there could have been some hills in the sand area instead of just a flat textured surface. For desert invasion try DM-Ovis or DM-Azufron
