[Edit: i heard someone uses this map on their server, you think its worth using ??]

| PapaBear 03-02-2003 09:40 PM MST | Rating: 5 | | You did all right for your first map, the textures, lighting, sounds and such were pretty well done - no obvious problems, the translocater to get the shield belt was a nice touch. The use of the Unreal "villians" are somewhat dated but acceptable. My comments as far as improvements would be that some of the object/platform heights were a little off, maybe a bit too high. I don't think you should have to T/L to get to a ground floor platform easily. And while the layout was okay - you would do more justice to yourself to make it bigger, put in some connecting routes or lifts to lower,upper sections. It was cool to be able to get behind the rubble, too bad there wasn't something for me to find (perhaps I did not wait long enough). Perhaps some tunnels or sliders (why doesn't more people use sliders? they are pretty cool). Maybe a skybox or two, looking forward to your next map. I

I played the map and it seems nice. There is not a lot of light so online this would be a great map, but its horrible offline because the bots can assassinate you left and right. It would be cool if you made a new actor class called "Brigand" and made a "Jack the Ripper" kind of person running around underground, killing (every once in a while). I had a problem however... I fired my gun at the celeing (:P) and the shot didnt take place,... naturally i typed fly and flew to the top. I passed through it and was blinded by a lot of Jaggey WTF's. Just to let you know you SHOULD make the top solid, unless something is supposed to happen there. Also is it possible to change "Slimed" to "Drowned" when you fall into the pools of water? You should also make it pull the player under like Koos Galleon when you fall in... Just to let you know,. Its a nice map,. I like the fact that you should shoot to see whar u go. Hey i nothiced one little tiny problem the bots seem to get confused every now and then. I watched them do the confusion-and-hate dance several times when they got to the minigun ammo. Other than that this was a nice map and I think you should make something called DM_City_Power_Out. lol (J/k dont do that that would be horrible :) )
