Wherever there is Unreal Tournament in a game title, there shall be generic tech maps. So let it be written, so let it be done.
Right off the map, the map looks average, automatic 1.5 for awe. Uses textures similar to DM-Turbine and any of the other 1,000,000 tech maps that were made for this game. Thankfully, there is no richrig to be found, but there is the occasional red light and crate use. Lighting is average as well, with some shadow effects here and there, though they seem rigid at times. I won’t say much about it since you’ve seen it all before. Formula visuals.
Gameplay is actually pretty ok. I had some fun in here and the place is small enough to keep combat swift. There are ramps, catwalks, flooded floors, and other things you’ve seen in plenty of epic maps. Bots put up a good game and navigate the place well. Basically, it plays like any other epic stock genre map, only the layout is better.
The Prophet’s Verdict: You’ll notice this review was short, mainly cus there isn’t much about it I can say. It runs great, bots play fine, and it looks decent. This one is good, in an average kind of way.
[EDIT] I played it again recently and decided that I sold it short slightly, so I added half a point to the score. Not much, but it does grow on you:)

I was impressed at the level of play, I was running all over escaping and attacking, good layout! Bots seemed to run well, though a bit predictable I liked the nooks and crannies and alternate routes, well done.

| Algus 05-17-2003 05:09 AM MDT | Rating: 7 | | This map is solid and sound, As firm and as level as ground. Our wants are appeased, And the neatnicks are pleased: They can wet their feet each round.
| Nahand 08-02-2003 12:25 PM MDT | Rating: 8 | | To me, pretty much 98% of UT´s EPIC maps were COMPLETE crap!
It's good to see custom made maps that really SHOULD have been bumdled with the original game.
M0f0 is super, no matter what!
