| fragswill 02-03-2003 03:31 AM MST | Rating: 4 | | This map is large, strange and not very good. The layout is symmetrical but still confusing. Fighting spaces are decent in the bases, but the central area, where i reckon most of the fighting will take place, is a network of bridges and planks with a high fall-into-the-water factor(you die if you fall into the water). There are several themes and texture sets used, about one for every four rooms. At least you don't have to look at them all at once. The framerate stays at a constant crappy level and in the central area, which is also the prettiest part, the polys hit 500 in every direction. Inside a larger room in the bases my fps dropped to 5. I don't know why, the node/plycount etc were normal. I found bsp errors in both bases and some other mistakes that were just dumb, like the classic with buildings that disappear in the skybox(you'll see what i mean). The map isn't entirely bad but also not entirely playable.
