If the bots where perfect I whould give a 10! to that map. Simply super. Great joob. It is to bad that the bots suck's so hard.

Long, square hallways connected by square or octagon shaped rooms, with a few arches, pillars or stairs in places... you have seen it before. Other stuff has been added like a UFO circling the mountains and little light flares that fly around. They are nice, but they don't make up for the map being really boring. Do not download this to play online.

Yup, it's big. It's grey. It's boring. Don't consider playing this with less than about 500 bots. Perhaps the title should have been "Skirmish Lost In Atlantis".

But monochromeness and bot play have to bring it down to a 6.5. But it's so much fun to just explore and play! So this is why people rent 64 man servers!! LOL! Keep up the mappin, I want MORE!!!!!!
| Atarashi Musashi 02-01-2003 12:44 PM MST | Rating: 5 | | This map is pretty neat, but I believe it needs more work. I think further work on this could prove to be successful. The floating lights are a cool idea, and some of the rooms are really nice in design. However, just about everthing is really lacking, lots of plain rectangle brushes... Unlit textures, as well as ones that are pure black, looks like they have the "special lit" tag on them. The lighting is real neat in some places, but everwhere else it looks like there was no attention paid to it at all. Bot pathing seems too lite for them to navigate the level efficiently, but its huge so that might account for it. The sky box in the level I must say I do like a lot. I hope it doesnt sound like I'm bashing this map, because I am not. I hope that some of these things I point out help the mapper in future projects. The mapper has potential, but if I might say, try to work on a smaller scale (it helps) For those of you reading this looking for a hardcore deathmatch map, this isnt one....just because its really really big. And another tip for the mapper, never have a room that is filled to the teeth with ammo, like your blue one, it screws up the balance of gameplay. The custom music that comes with it adds atmosphere...and this is too long.

(The free floating lights.) This map could be polished better, and yes, it is big. Not a ten due to the amount of time taken to frag someone.
