Well how to initially describe this map.er....BIZEEE (busy that is).
Well lets start off with the bad points, the main thing wrong with this map is its name ;o).

Seriously though the map is technically very good with great game flow. The bot paths work optimally and item and weapon placement is just right, the chosen weapons are also what you should expect and not over the top for this claustraphobic melee. The architecture of the map is simple (maybe a bit too simple for what we have come to expect from ut2003), with a wintry outdoor section and inside an abandoned prison of some sort.

Z axis fighting is aplenty, and the eyecandy is busy but themed well. The author has also included some of his own static meshes which also work quite well but arent really needed as they dont add to the standard mesh packages. The linked movers (The main doors) tickled my fancy a bit. As for The lighting, well it is somewhat bland (reminds me a lot of malevolence) but hey what the hell...this is prison after all.
Believe me there is plenty of eye candy without getting too distracted! frame rates fly by.
Projectors also make an appearance in the map, a nice touch.
Designed to a really high quality this map stands out from the recent crowd.
I played the level over a LAN and all who took part enjoyed it, and I can see it being a regular on the server! Top stuff keep up the good work!

Bits i really liked :
The meshes and placement.
The Gameflow
The professionalism of the build once opened in the editor.

Bits im not so sure about:
The lighting could have been better
The Name (picky i know but im just having a bit fun here)
I really think the author could have tackled a much more challenging map and really utillised the UT2003 engine, he seems to have the skill, so i look foward to his next map.

This is the kind of map that some people will welcome with open arms as it is in the tradition of UT maps, however i can understand why some people wont agree because after all its not just about the eyecandy now that we have the capability to produce somewhat more imaginitive arenas for kicking each others asses.
Technically though this map is sound and after all thats what reviewing is all about. You have to decide...Its a bit like Marmite, youll either love it or hate it...(or not like it so much, ahem *coughs*)
but in short, Its built well, flows well, plays well, looks great and you really should add this to your list, just maybe lacks a bit in originality as far as the idea goes.

IMPORTANT:-
Upon further investigation about the hole in the floor i have located it and added a screeny of the offending bugger. The author needs to fix this pretty sharpish as this map is being downed a hell of a lot of times.
Thanks for the peeps for pointing out the mysterious hole.

A decent map all around, worth downloading, but feels like it's missing something. Could be because it's what I call a "run around and hope for the best" kind of map... There were no particular areas that got my attention as being places to control or to control from and I didn't find any really satisfying routes to run either.

I'd like to see a version two with a few changes to make it more interesting. Could be a really good map then. :)

Wish I could comment without rating this.

This map feels completely soulless to me. It's well-built, but it just...I can't put me finger on it, but I just straight out don't like to play it.

Doh, actually wanted to give it 6.5. The map is well built, but the lights are too washed out, single colored (white!?) and don't create any efect at all. The sounds are almost nonexistent. The gameply is solid, but would gain a lot from another storey (I think it lacks Z depth, although Z axis fight is decent). Also, the map is kind of complicated and in combination with montone textures players may somethimes have slight problems with navigation. Author definitely has to make this map richer in terms of colors and sounds.

Ah, finally an old scool copy cat map. Rooms that have no puprose in the building and boring layout.
If you like hitting your head in the celling when trying to doublejump, this map is for you. a 4

Nice map blah blah review says it all. Has anyone else besides me and 2 others I know of gotten stuck below the map. Outside you can fall though the ground somehow and walk through the floor. WTF is up with that?

6.5 would have been better but it isn't available. I agree with the reviewer in almost everything, but where is the z-axis? Ok there's some but it isn't enouch. Anyway, good map. I recommend it to anyone and if I will put up a server running custom maps I will gladly add this.

A tutorial in flesh. Of course the fluid, containing original blood cells, is slightly absent. Instead of a juicy steak, we have prshut(spicy dry swine leg, dried in eternal winds scourging Kras).
A nice map, but very shallow.

Note to author: We love this map! This is in our map rotation and will stay there! We actually love every bit of it! This is about the only inside/outside map that I like! We don't rate maps for originality, and I really don't give a damn if it's got custom this or custom that. The bottom line for LAN games: GAMEPLAY! For a two level map, this one has enough "holes" for people on top to keep track of people below them. This is a great concept! Also great flow!!!!!
