The textures are very repetitive, and there doesn't appear to be that much geometry, but it is an outdoors map laid out so that most of the map is visible. Lighting seems to be confined to alternating dark and bright. There are at least light sources, although the lighting isn't nearly as directional as the sources would appear. The map looks ok, but nothing special.
I felt that gameplay suffered from weapon placement. Oh neither I nor the bots had trouble obtaining them, but that's because all of the weapons, including the redeemer and multiple copies of most of the rest, are just sitting in the middle of the paths. And two damage powerups a short run apart? That's just too much of a good thing...

Good fun, just uprgraded to 512mb ram, AMD XP2600+ & 128mb GeForce4 so put all the details to max and it ran like a dream. One problem I found was that there are some ruins up in the hills with a path through the middle. I tried to jump up onto them but I got stuck and had to die.
