A rather large gray DM, with again no clear theme.
A lot of gray everywhere, with some red light on a few spots, and a occasional very saturated blue one. Most of the light is white and unsourced. The few lightsources that do exist, such as the lava, don`t give off light either, it`s still just white around them. The lightning in general doesn`t add anything up to the map. Texturing is just gray, some very intensive use of 1 pillar texture. That texture has been used way too much and mostly on the wrong places. Simply said, textures are boring. The map is cubic at places, and pretty plain and boring looking again. The only real decoration there is, are various weird signs and some text on the walls throughout the map. Sounds are almost non existence, except for those few.
Floorplan is ok. Some Z fragging and other things. But on some places it`s rather confusing, and lacks some more connectivity. And some more ``gameplay sounds`` woulnd`t been bad either, health vials and other things to warn the enemy, doors, jumpads etc...
Graphically the map is boring and theme-less, but the gameplay is ok, although it has some problems.

I remember that the author was asking for help/advice on this one not so long ago. All in all, I find it has that 'certain something'--for me, anyway.

I'll say it straight: this map has no soul at all for me. Not only that the texturing is monotone, but it's boring as hell also and simply doesen't make you want to look around (not to mention non-existing delicate architecture); some decos on the walls seem to be thrown around randomly. Lighting is also unsourced, monotone and washed out and doesen't create any special ambient. The quantity and quality of sounds are negligible. As for the gameplay, the map is not that bad, has some Z-axis and flow, but in my view it is also too stretched, with too many long corridors and some dead ends that cut down the flow. Sorry, no.

The sounds: no color, no sound. Increase music volume to 75% and voila... The texturing: well, I have to say that Xtortion.utx is...poor...
