Map DescriptionThis map idea comes from Die Hard the movie, although the only resemblance is the fact that it's a Hotel (sort of!), be warned it's very big (ideal for a Team DM)

Fugly

DM-DieHard is set in a huge freakin skyscraper. It has some stairs, some lifts and a lot of meshes.There are many problems with this map - though the author states this is a beta, much work remains to be done.

First off, many of the floors are very poorly lit. One floor is filled with lava, for some reason. Another is totally black and filled with items, inlcuding Unreal 1 items you cant use like the Translator. Another floor is full of big crates, another just gigantic brick walls. Theres also a pool room. None of this is pulled off convincingly.

The outside of the building has a lantern texture tiled a hundred times to simulate windows I take it. Theres far more suitable testures under GenFX.utx Its plain ugly and because its just a mask you can fall through it. Texturing and alignement overall are hideous. I hate to say bad things about this map, because I understand the time required to build something this big. However, even with 16 players it seems empty. Framerates drop, especially outside. There is no botpathing - this is a beta mind you.
Before this map can really be taken seriously the author really needs to fill those floors with something interesting and realistic. Whats up with the earth texture on the floor?

Theres just too much weirdness going on to describe. I hope you fix this, but it needs a lot of work.
