This map is set in a random tech complex overlooking a city below. Unlike the author's last map which I reviewed, Illuzions]l[, this map goes for a more building style theme that follows room-corridor-room patterns. The map is an obvious attempt, but simply lacks any sort of appeal visually and in actual play.
Design is quite bland, the author unwisely uses the extorion pack (this texture pack should never have been made, whoever it was at Epic that made it should be capped in the knees) and the architecture and lighting is equally tasteless. Textures are misaligned and the author hasn't merged the polys on his 2d shapes, making them look very strange and incomplete. The map is basically made up of subtracted and added shapes to make up rooms, halls, staires, and ramps. Lighting appears white and like the author's last map, is overexaggerated. Luckily, with visuals like this, slow down is nonexistant, so the map never slows down it's pace. However, the pace itself is rather problematic itself...in fact the gameplay has some serious problems. First off, the bots aren't very well pathed, they get stuck against ramps and have serious issues with the movers. Secondly, the map is oversized so theres too much open space with nothing to do but run near a wall or a corrior or a staircase that leads to items and weapons. The map's layout falls flat since it isn't very developed and bots stay on the lower levels mostly. Plus, there is.....I don't why this is here.....an instagib rifle at the top of the map. Why? No really, why? Anyone with a good shockrifle aim can easily claim victory, since most of the spawning takes place below and picking off bots is easier than scratching your nut sac.

The Prophet's Verdict: I can't recomend this map to anyone given it's lack of flavor, style, and overall fun factor. Pass it up for a better map. The author needs spend more time on his own practicing level design and not release another map until he has a handle on the system.

Not a bad map bots work ok, they got stuck often where the lifts are while trying to translocate, textures are a bit dull, it needs more colour, sky box is ok but like myself i find it difficult to end a sky box without showing the break between textures. The map seems bigger than it is. Good effort!

Fairly good map, nice layout, good flow, could be a little larger. The only thing that detracted from it was the vulgar comments when using the lifts. Why mess up a map with useless vulgarity? That cost you a point.

Only a 6 because I got tired of shooting fish in a barrel (bots getting stuck under the lifts--had five of them all there at the same time, once. LOL. Never heard the vulgarity, myself, since when I finally decided to try the lift--game over! I thought it was bigger than it obviously was, too. Great.

The bots getting stuck all the time is annoying. And the map's somewhat riddled with questions: How come sometimes the vulgarity is heard, but mostly not? Why is it I'm not able to open the balcony, only the bots? Why is sometimes announced, "the balcony is open," when opened, but mostly not? Is it actually possible to enter the hidden UT arsenal & shooting range? Isn't the balcony's enhanced SR a bit too overkill for this map? Or for any map, at that? I wonder.

i made this 2 or 3 years ago.. lol ... i u wana know how to open that crap.. well. balcony.. shot the lights the shine on the back of the score board. to open the shooting range and crap shoot under both lifts if u can even get the bots out of the way. then go to the main room where the two holes are in the cieling.. shoot the lights dangling by the holes.. go into the hole and go up as far as u can and shoot down the red corridor thing and hit the back wall. now run to the hallway in the center and go to the big sybol on the wall.. it should be open. oh and if u jump on top of the pipes that are above the ramp.. go into the wall to get a shield.also it seems that the balcony thinkg screws up when u put bots in.. its fine when u play alone.. i duno why the heck it does that.. o well

I think it still deserves a 2 or a 3.
There seems to be put some effort in it and it's much, much better than cubemaps:)
