Here we have a rather straight forward oldskool CTF map of small to medium size. A symmetric layout sees the bases connected with upper and lower level routes.
Opening the map in the editor revealed the author meaning well, but not knowing his game. Worst aspect is certainly the botpathing. Not a single alternate path node on the map, ambush instead of defense points, the elevators not pathed at all, infact on one he at least put a lift center (not that that would do anything..) with the other lift he didnt even bother doing that. However, since the lifts are bumpable, and move very fast, a bot may well end up "accidentally" using them. Architecture is low-poly simplistic, and rather unimpressive, though luckily offering hardly any plain cubes. Lighting is not well executed either, with especially the whole area surrounding the flags being nigh on unlit once the flags dynamic lights expired. The sides of the movers are also unlit.
The bad bot support means that for this map to be enjoyable one needs to play it against human opponents. Luckily, the time-proven layout, as well as accaptable flow, and appropriate item placement give out of the box fun for at least a few matches. Yet "keeper" material this map is not. |

I just played my map for a bit and noticed the bots screwed up the elevators some how so i made a new version and there is lights by the flags! As far as wepon placement i thought it more of an insta map myself so im not big on weps placement =/

And more lights nedded around flags! I dont see the blue flag. Good outworking but need more place to run, to hide, to jump..

A bigger version of this would rule. Speaking of bigger maps: (to autor and the others) download my DM-Circulation2. It's bigger.
