hey algus- can you read? i said it was a conversion, and i said I HAD THE MAPPERS PERMISSION to do it. me and swartz talk on ICQ a lot and he said it was ok. I gave him full credit. so why are you making bad poems and giving me a 0 when i did the right thing with it?

Dont give him a 0 because he didnt do anything, because he did!
Some people actually have the courage to open up unrealed (unlike some people *cough,ALGUS,cough*)and try to do something, whether it is based on another's map (i did that the first time i submited a map) or a brand new masterpiece, it still takes effort and courage, because he has to put up with ****holes like you

give the guy some credit, he did have to make the map work for jailbreak instead of ctf, thats a little bit more than a conversion as you have to place in jb actors etc..ok so its not much, but still

Why don't we just encourage the mappers? I mean who hasn't borrowed something, somewhere, sometime when creating these maps? At least this guy gave credit where it was due. But some people just read what's in front of them, never seeing the truth.

... independently of sarcastic humor, or plain stupidity, you all should remember a "conversion" for JailBreak GameType *does* involve new/original work. A CTF map to work for JB must include new BSP/architecture as well as new actors/triggers. That original work *should* be taken into consideration, before dishing out abismal scores - one way or another...

Ripped off maps just plain suck. Unless you get permission, then they're fine. Remember, youre NOT rating the author, youre rating the map.
