What a strange map. It’s good in some places, but misses in others. I’d like to see all the good ideas rolled into one. There’s a pillbox for snipers in an open area, water with tunnels and hidden goodies, isolated rooms, rooms where the action gets nuts, and places where it looks like the author ran out of ideas. It resembles a military installation that has underground facilities. You’ll probably want to play with a full house, or close to it.
A couple of the rooms look pretty good, and then others are rather plain. It feels like rooms were added just for the hell of it, without any thought given to flow. The fighting outdoors is usually very distant, which contrasts with the close fighting indoors. I actually enjoy variety such as this. Some stuff needs scaled properly, sinks, for example.
You’ve got jump pads to help you move around and gain some z-axis advantage, and you can climb ladders as well. The water adds some dimension to the gameplay. The bots seemed okay, but I found broken path nodes for the amp and the kegger, so they weren’t going for them. I’d really like to see the author fix a few things, add some more stuff to some rooms so they don’t feel so empty, fix connectivity, and maybe the outdoors scaled down slightly. It’s a good map with the potential to be considerably better.

The outdoor/indoor mix sets this map above the run of the mill; unfortunately, none of its pieces are noteworthy on their own. As usual the lighting is often too bright, and always too uniform. Especially puzzling is the outdoor milieu -- it's so brightly lit that one can see even underwater, yet there's a starry sky?
Big, big, big. This map is huge, and the default bot load is too low for it.

| Fuzzy Logic 01-12-2003 06:26 AM MST | Rating: 7 | | Great map but the bots need some work. They tend to go for the rocket launcher inside the main building a bit too much at the expense of other areas. Needs a maximum bot count to work well. Still enjoyable though.
