Map DescriptionA Cryogenic Prison Facility turned into a CTF Arena? A big ole tube like spacestation? With a bit of an original layout red base is up top and blue base is down below. In between is some "neutral ground" where you can find some much needed provisions. Transport between the base platfroms is facilitated by teleporters and four elevators. Of course you could just jump off the side and hope for the best, which in that case is a pretty corpse.

This is an innovative map. It might take you a little while to get acclimated to your surrounding, but it’s worth the effort. The map is just complicated enough to keep things interesting and it has somewhat of a professional feel to it in many places. You’re inside this gigantic space station tube with other tubes, catwalks, sniper stations, and long falls if you’re not careful.

The bots are a nice challenge, the items are laid out well, the design is polished, and it’s fun to play. You’ll be doing a lot of warping around and z-axis is hit or miss. By this I mean the sniper posts offer a good vantage point, however, other z-axis is extremely long because of the huge, vertical layout of the place. I played the thing with maybe 10 players or so, and it felt about right. It’s a big place and the paths to and from the bases aren’t intuitive, so be prepared to be lost for awhile, but also be prepared for an “above average” map.

A good user made map. I like the flow of the base, but would recommend a good number of players, probably at least 12. I like the looks of the map and the zones of varying gravity, (which I've heard some complaints about with this map) I think are cool. I'd recommend the download, I'm going to try it during some lanning later today and see how it plays with humans.

The only downside to this map is some serious frame-rate drops when looking down or up through the main chamber. My 1.53ghz athlon and ti4200 dropped below 20 fps (briefly as low as 12 fps) when I did this. Granted, I'm using the relatively un-optimized Linux version of ut2k3, so maybe win32 users with the same hardware won't have my issues. All in all a decent map.

I had tried this map upon its release and I still have mixed feelings. I love the idea and the theme, but the gameplay seemed a bit limited. Prehapse if the levels were closer together, though that may take away from the theme, it could play better.

This is a solid map. It's very unique and a nice change from the normal layouts. Lots of ports which take you from level to level, it is confusing untill you play it for a while and figure out the layout. Qualthwar's review is right on (as always). Try this out for a nice change of pace. Nice job! I find myself playing this map almost everyday!
