There's enough health to keep things interesting, but it's scarce enough to make it impossible to rely on; this is a balance many 1-on-1 maps don't get right. The two health packs are also far enough apart, and hidden from one another, that it's hard to exert control over both.
The weapon/ammo balance is also good: ASMD, minigun, and RL, with only a little ammo for each. Extra rockets in particular are scarce. You can't rely solely on your one favorite weapon (though bullets are in fairly good supply, I rarely ran out while trying out the map). The map is configured with a default of 4 players, however, which strikes me as awfully crowded. If you like random fragfests, then I suppose you might like 4 players, but expect to die and run out of ammo a whole lot.
On the down side, the near-instant-death lava inside and around the ribcage is a bit much; it strikes me as gimmicky. The firey-nostrilled dragon statue at one end of the open area is similarly gimmicky; it doesn't seem to have any role other than decorative, yet doesn't much fit with the map's name "Caveman." Perhaps the name "Lair" would have been more appropriate?
Smooth, even lighting isn't out of place; after all, this is an outdoor setting. The unrelieved rocky-dirt texture on the ground is a bit simplistic; more attention to the ground textures could make this map look a LOT better. Also, the terrain around the extra rocket pack is awkwardly done, making the rockets a bit too difficult to actually get to.
In all quite a solid map. A few minor tweaks -- the ground textures and the rocket pack's surrounding terrain -- would easiliy bring it up to an 8+ in my book.

There aren't enough obstacles to obscure vision or make an interesting and strategic 1v1 map...this is more like a dogfight, where the two of you would just keep slugging away over a wide-open field.
There just isn't enough real-estate here to make for a decent 1v1 map.
