Really rough on the framerate, maybe the lowest framerates I've seen on any map yet. It's one of a very few maps I consider totaly unplayable on my computer (Athlon XP 1800+ with 512M DDR and GF2 GTS 64M DDR).
The map could definately use some antiportals to give it some occlusion, which would help improve the framerate and maybe make it as playable as say Inferno.

Another large map with no flow, but without enough separation into distinct areas to break it play into distinct smaller subregions. The result is a lot of sniping that interferes with wide-open "local" firefights, usually centered around health & ammo locations.
Item placement doesn't seem to have been done with a mind to affecting the flow of play, either. Ammo for each weapon tends to be located near that weapon; this encourages camping. In the meantime, any attempt to move from one area to the next opens you up to lightning or shock sniping.
The texture and landscape are handled attentively, with some appropriate ambient noises in the soundtrack; nevertheless, the overall effect is rather humdrum.
The bots aren't especially well pathed, either, though at least they seem to use all the weapons.

Hey! Is this a computer forum or a map forum... Oh well by computers a 2.2 Gig, 128 MB Geforce 4, 256 MB Ram and suggestions on what to upgrade?
Map was pretty decent besides the framerate... :)

My RDRAM has served me well =| in many instances it is more efficient overall, it just has annoying issues like the need for continuty and such.
anyways, I agree with the review. decent map, i give it a 5.5 rounded up.

Great map, lots of fun and the atmosphere is cool. Wicked lightning matches.

First: I absolutely loved the sky. One the best I've seen.
I really didn't think there was much else to this map. It looks great, but play is so-so. I didn't like the map ends either. You can see the valley, but just get frozen when you try to jump down to them.
Also, not much Z-axis.

Nothing personal against this map. But I've seen enough of these open outdoor maps. There's nothing special about this one either. The sky looks nice, the terrain good enough.

A good, large map with great long-range play and a theme that works. I especially like the centre with the gargoyle statues.

I'm a bit over terrain maps but this one is fun. Looks sharp (no performance issues for me) and has some pretty garish lighting.
I like it!
