| flyguyty89 09-13-2004 10:13 PM MDT | Rating: 6.5 | | Man this map is really not that bad...the "trams" need a little more work, but what would be really cool is a bigger map. Bots work really well and the graphics arent that bad. follow up with a ][ for sure or even make a AS version
| Rob 09-14-2004 04:05 AM MDT | | There is already a ][.

| [Dark-JaXx] 09-14-2004 10:54 AM MDT | | You can update the map too, you know.
| RJGexplode 09-14-2004 01:36 PM MDT | Rating: 6.5 | | good, a few odd textures here and there though
| Evil Snack 03-29-2005 05:16 PM MST | Rating: 8.5 | | I like a mapper who adds gimmiks and movers. The map is also very cool, I like the idea of subways. The map is not unplayable on foot and there are a few secret areas to get stuff if you walk.
There is a rather annoying problem. Sometimes you fall through the Tram and get run over. (This is very annyoing when you have the flag). Good thing it doesn't happen often though. I think I like the map because there are so many stratagies and ways to get the flag. It also feels like a subway. (Ok, a subway in WW2 or something but it still feels like a subway).
P.S. I tried #2 didn't seem any different. Was the bot pathing changed or something?

I remember playing this on the server with Bones's G11 mutator way back in the day, and it was a blast! You can choose between riding the subway (no weapons, no powerups, but fun and cool just the same), or walk it (lotsa goodies)...
Q: Wasn't there a DM-Citylink also?

Visually this is one of the best UT99 maps I've seen. Orange is actually a fantastic colour for lighting, because it can resemble sunlight, and thus creates a very realistic effect. Texturing is done very well too. The large size also means it's versatile...I could play this not only as CTF, but as a U4E Gauntlet match, a small Assault, or a family-sized Deathmatch. ;-)
If I have one minor grizzle it's that the trains stop for too long, and are very unpredictable at times as to when they're going to start moving again. A button to get them moving might have been a good idea.
All in all though, awesome map!
| S-Dot 12-14-2005 12:35 AM MST | | funny to see this map here. A lot of people hated it but I guess they didn't like the funky stuff in it and never played it. Playing it is quite funny I hope.
I would do something like that in a totally different way with the UT2k4 engine. Maybe I should. I already have a lot of subway meshes created for domain2049 and even a decent subway train.
