| bah_mee 06-26-2005 07:00 AM MDT | Rating: 1 | | Warning: not enough to warrent hard drive space. The idea is different but it looks terrible, metal texture here, castle texture there, three boxes and an area that gives you an annoying warning not unlike your neighbor whos car alarm keeps going off but the guy is deaf to the alarm letting it go and go and go. It has some botpaths and a very umm well, ugly plane at the bottom that does not even warrant being there. Did I mention the lightsources? no? THERE ARE NONE! If you think I am harsh because of this then download it yourself, I like quality maps to run around a shoot people in, not ugly bsp boxes and spheres that look like like I am playing inside a 20 sided dice. I guess if I submitted this I wouldn't use my name either :P
If anyone who submits these kinds of maps ever wants to get into the industry mapping, they really need to take harsh criticism lightly. I say this with Experience and nalicity is tame compared to some of the criticism in the real world. If the mapper does not care if his/her map looks good, I do thats my opinion, why do I want to shuffle through 1 hundred ugly maps to find great ones. Just a thought.
