I'm really excited about this map, and I'll tell you why: Not only does this creation look professional in many ways, is also freakin' tough! I meanÖbig time challenging. I love that in a CTF. So many CTF's that I've played are a walk in the park. I mean, what's the use!?! But this puppy will have you barking in your seat, wondering how you'll ever be able to conquer such a formidable task.
Now, before I go any further, let me throw out the few things that I had a problem with, because they are small concerns, and I want to end this review on a positive note: First of all, there is a crate with a BSP error. You can look right through one corner of it. At first I thought it was like that on purpose, but when I hurled some blades at it, they came back at me, as opposed to flying through the opening I saw. I also didn't care too much for the rotating, red lights; they just looked to weird to me. Lastly, the skybox probably could have been a little better. Again, minor issues.
Okay, so here's the scope: You have enough variety to keep your interest peeked, the sniper posts prove to be deadly, not to mention the bots that take full advantage of them; and believe me, brotherÖwhen I say they are good, I mean it. I watched as one used up all its rifle ammo in a sniper tower, ran through the teleport, loaded back up on bullets, grabbed a couple of other items, then headed straight back to its post so as to continue raining down carnage like nobody's business. Sugar sweet, fellas. They do it all. The item placement added to the experience, the atmosphere was pretty good, I would have liked to have seen the lighting done just a little better in a few placed, but the architecture and texturing were satisfying. Play this one with about 10 sorry souls, give or take. Now if you'll excuse me, I want to get back to playing this map some moreÖÖ |

| Luquado | Rating: 7.5 | | Skankey shoots, Skankey scores! Just d/led and played it. Not too shabby at all. Very crisp looking too...
| BangOut_[EH] | Rating: 7.5 | | whee!
| Seeker | Rating: 7.5 | | Didn't think it was possible, but I thought this level suffered from over texturing. There was just to much to look at sometimes! Anyways, pretty good level. Liked the positioning of the flag rooms.
| Shock6822 | Rating: 7 | | For me to poop on!

| Piz Doff | Rating: 8 | | i'll download it at home
| NYGrrrl | Rating: 0 | | yea its a real looker and i would luv this map but i wonder if anyone actually tried playing it?carbonite has a fatal flaw and thats the spawn room is not accessable to the other team... BIG No-No for ctf cause now a flag carrier can hide in there and be invulnerable... ooopsie! and IF you manage to sneak in there when an enemy player runs out theres like 8 automachine guns in this tiny room... fix that and it gets an *8* :>
| mikehild | Rating: 0 | | All this was for me is a "die every 10 seconds because I always respawn in this room filled with turrets and the door out won't open" map. Deleted shortly after trying it. =(
| skankey | | Try it in MultiPlayer.... it's more fun that way. *rolls eyes*
| Blooddog_sweden | Rating: 9.5 | | I think this is an amazing map and a bonus is that it plays good.A challenger to Terra, almost better.
| InQue | Rating: 10 | | Great CTF play combined with excellent sniper positions and a nice sound track made this CTF map a must play on my LAN games . Great work.
| Jez 01-10-2004 12:52 PM MST | Rating: 0 | | Same problem as mike... sheesh it's blood bath. Load the map, get killed, respawn, get killed, respawn, get killed, ad infinitum. All you see and hear are the humans and bots getting flakked to death. As for trying it in multiplayer, I don't see how that would make any difference. Either the players are bots or humans, the problem remains the same. Totally unplayable.
| XepptizZ 01-10-2004 11:24 PM MST | Rating: 8 | | To lez or jez or whatecer. The turrets will be team triggered you daft idiot, so should the doors. It's to prevent the enemy haven a fragfest at your place...
And the map is decent and stuff and blablaba.
