I'll keep this one short, there really is no need to drag on. When we all have uber-PCs and the Unreal IX engine can handle 1000 poly-a-frame maps, this will be one cool map. Unfortunately that is then, and this is now, and we cannot run these sort of maps expecting a good gaming experience.
Layout is OK, although the bases are a bit cramped and hard to navigate. Texturing is a bit crap, with one texture used for most of the map. The bases are predominantly made up of the cylinder shape (see the screenshot) and are too blocky, while the terrain is well-done but far too many polys. I really couldn't see how bots did as the computer was stuttering too much, but at least they captured the flag.
One last thing - the screenshot was not took using fly mode, or a big impact jump, or a translocate. It was taken using THE WORKING HELICOPTERS! This is *exactly* the sort of thing we need in maps to make them interesting. A helicopter that takes off when you get on it and flies you to the enemy base, allowing you to make strafing runs and paradrops! Well, if the frame rates allowed it. :-(.
