Dm-Paintball is a small 2 or 3-player map with a very gaudy look. A combination of overuse and under use takes all the appeal out of playing this level.

The layout is pretty good, with some z-axis fighting, and a rounded corner here or there. But the map is predominately made up of basic shapes such as rectangles, stairs, and a couple of cylinders. Item placement was basically correct, and a nice job of pathing kept the bots on the right course.

The texturing was ridiculous. The City package was used to ruin the look of this map with an overuse of graffiti textures everywhere. Almost everything you look at has a caution strip on it, or some windows, which look a little out of place.

Lights illuminate this beast, but most sections of the map have no light source. The center of the level, where most of the fighting takes place, has a few light sources, but the fixtures are done wrong and don't add to the look of the map.

There is no CD music, or sounds, so you're on your own with that.

I would like to see this map done over with a good texturing job, sounds, and some light sources done correctly. I believe it would be an appealing map once this is done.

I love to paintball, but this map put me off. Its all the same, nothing differnet. What you want to have is a 3 or 4 level map with barrels and maybe netting or moving barriers (or mirrors) that would be good, also the lighting could be better if some areas were differnt colours or strobing / flickering!!!
