nasedo 09-05-2004 12:06 PM MDT Rating: 9   This one is not a typical UT DM map.Instead it is more like a counter-strike or delta force map.Does that make it bad? Absolutely NOT! First of all, the map is a huge outdoor+indoor environment which gives you lots of different gameplay styles.For instance you can snipe outside & since the area is large enough you will have the advantage.Or you can wait inside with a flakcannon and make easy preys indoors. This map really has it all. On the downside, there are a few problems with some doors...Bots just can't pass through and freeze there.Also the sky textures are not as greatly detailed as the hummers inside and the athmosphere is little bit dull since there is no music.It could have been better if there was an ambient like in a desert military base, because the map itself is a military base somewhere in the United States. Other than these, the map is great, highly playable, and imo refreshing for UT. I wish there were more maps like this for UT, like counter-strike or delta force maps, which take place in huge outdoor environments as close to the real world as possible. No interest at all except sniper players (even those will limit themselves). And there are other maps like this one, just look around. Definitely not a 9... Not really suitable for DM in my opinion.
