Here's a short little level, perfect for the 2vs2 TDM or 1vs1 play, in online deathmatch or LAN play. It's a rather small platform floating mysteriously in thin-air, so I don't recommend more than 6 players myself even though the playability of the level is rather high.
Textures and architecture are pretty average, albiet clean. Mostly straight lines, with little ornamentation and the occasional lantern to shed some light sources. Lighting is decent and at least shines adequately from each of the lanterns with nice appeal, although there are some sections of the map that appear dark (although not as dark as it appears in the screenshots). The skybox isn't all that, and neither is the cloud cover down below (see DM-Vertiginous for an example of truely excellent lower cloud-cover so nice you get vertigo looking down!) The spiral staircase on the tower is pretty though. :-)
Flow is above average, slightly, and item placement is reasonable for such a small place... not too much of anything, and the redeemer is placed in a precarious mid-air position requiring a careful leap from the jump-pads so as to avoid falling off the playing field. No shield-belt here, or UDamage, so no worries about someone getting too powerful in close quarters.
Bots can reach all the items but have some trouble with the jump-pads, sometimes jumping back and forth to the same places several times before waking up and doing something else.
I didn't notice any sound enhancements here, and while there's music, I know that some players turn that off to lessen the distractions, so while not completly boring, it's still below average just a teensy.
Other than that, I had a lot of fun running around on it, albiet that I wasn't expecting too much of it. Loveshack is a decent but not spectacular effort that fits in perfectly for the small one on one server loop. Worth the small download.
